#mohg #elden ring #some pictures i took in a mohg avatar in vrchat i thought looked really cool.

the more i think about mohg the more i feel for him in both an in-universe kind of way and a meta kind of way

he's a pretty deeply tragic character with a lot of interesting stuff going on, but discussion around him tends to be distilled to being about (either jokingly or seriously) the idea that he's a sex pervert (which he isn't, he's legitimately invested in cleansing miquella of his curse)

i am not immune to this, but this is largely because i think its funny to call him a neckbeard “ACTUALLY MOM SHE’S A 3,000 YEAR OLD VAMPIRE” type of guy

but in a very literal story sense i find him really sad in an interesting, resonant kind of way. he's so desperate and fighting an uphill battle but is so hopeful. i wish more people would talk about this part of him instead of borderline deliberately misinterpreting the text and then getting mad about it
