Because I find the idea of Tom falling first and then trying to get Marco to see his feelings would be funny, and Marco being oblivious to Tom's feelings thinking all his flirty actions was just his practice for star so keeps unintentionally rejecting Tom 🤣

You know what? Yeah, that could work 😆 let Tom do the heavy lifting for once, a.k.a the first to fall in love.

Tomstar if there was a sliver of character development for Star's part in their relationship.

Starney? Brittstar. Although, this one is viewed through the lens of fanfic and tropes. Also, the possible dynamic they might create has more teeth/arguments before understanding that whatever affection there is will feel earned.

Starkie, Janstar, and with Starfan13 are alright, Star is naturally affectionate with them but all I can see is sisterhood. So Starney it is!

It's alright, dear anon, you're not being pushy at all.

As for your query, the Httys story isn't exactly planned at length. There's still no any ending in mind, or how the rest of the story will play out as of yet. I usually let my mood (or whenever I read Quinn's books I get the urge) that push me to update. So I think no concrete count for chapters as of yet?

Now for utdrl, it originally has a 52 ch count base on my original outline, but given what I still have to cover I'm pretty sure it will reach 70? Or it could be less than that, depending what scenes will get scrapped off this time.

As of plans for other stories. I'm sure with the side-story for Gus. But for the Tomco, I think I'll play with an alternate plot of utdrl (like the courting arrangement not getting approved or Marco being forcefully brought to the Underworld to unite the bond) then a fun premise fic with my rarepair? Star and Brittney? Like an enemies to lover-ish plot? Other ships with Star are alright but I want someone who's a complete opposite for Star. I keep wondering how her usual cheeriness will conflict with someone who has no tolerance for it. See how will that pan out.

Anyways, I don't write in other fandoms while I write for tomco. And, I live somewhere in Asia 😊

Hiii, just curious. Is there going to be a Gus-centric side story after utdrl is finished? Like Gusco becoming a thing pipeline or Gus finding someone else instead?

I feel like he should be given of his own haha. He had enough solid character structure to sustain a love story either with Marco or someone.

The funny thing is... I'm already 18k words deep on a draft for a Gus-centric side story..?

I keep writing it when the events of utdrl is giving me a bit of a trouble. So now it's a growing side project.

As to whether it'll be a 'friends to lovers Gusco' or 'Gus will have Marco as his confidant for his own love story with someone else' will be a secret for now. I hope that's okay.

Also, I think it's a fun thought if Gus follows Tom and Marco's footsteps of having the very person they admire first but end up becoming their love advisor/confidant instead? 😌 Tomstar and Markie friendship already set a pattern, so why not a Gusco version too? But friends to lovers Gusco is my kind of yum as well so really, who knows? 👀

In short, they fall in love anyway after an arduous time of spending in each other's company. Marco helped Tom better himself for Star only to love every bit of the demon while Tom realizes at the end that he's been impressing the wrong person all along.

They're so enemies to friends to lovers coded in teens version that fits royalty plots and I'll never get tired of it.

I miss their banter era on utdrl. I miss sassy Marco and now, he's just a sad baby.

The beginning of utdrl construction was literally just surviving on watching tomco clips on loop, reading the fandom wiki for the foundation of characterizations, and watching/reading Blood Moon Ball episode/au fics. I feel so guilty writing the fic knowing I didn't finish canon yet, so I put that notice in case someone caught me for ooc writing?

Which, I believe is a bit of a stretch given it's just a fanfic but I'm a worrywart.

And the reason I haven't edited that notice off yet (now that I have the confidence of canon lmao) is because I feel like the beginning of each character details/behaviours/their habits are ooc? Idk, I feel like it is. And since I won't be able to fix those until the story finishes so I'm leaving that warning as is for the mean time.

So just to avoid disappointing anyone, I still put that up. But thank you so much for the compliment?? I'm not sure if the work belongs on the circle of in-depth svtfoe writing but thank you very much??

Ohhh, funny thing is, I have concept designs of Tomco kids (with a built story behind lmao). This is basically created since last year during summer for my own pleasure.

I made their personalities with Augustus as their fav Uncle in mind 😆 this is them in front of company through. With utdrl context, these two are raised in royalty.. so yeah.

Theo is more hyper tho and takes after Tom and basically adores Star. Talia takes after Marco's usual laid back nature.

Also, I adapted the same concept of my other kid fics from a different fandom..? Where I have this favorite tick that a kid is an exact carbon copy of a parent. Hence Theo and Talia's faces.

Basically, my inspiration for the lore? The foundation of the twins? I just adore the idea sm, so Theo and Talia has Marco's face because I know without a doubt Tom adores Marco to bits.

Sooo, to compensate Tom's lack of contribution in terms of their kids' features 😆 the twins' first name initials and penchant for nicknames (sorry, I love nicknames they need to have it) follows Tom's own instead.

So... I don't know if this constitutes as a drawing exercises 😆 but in my case, I think it's just a ritual before drawing. I read historical/romance manhwas first if I plan for inserted arts on utdrl (or for here!) to have vibrant lightings?

So once my eyes had its fill I quickly try it on my Tomco sketches!

So I think I'm just doing visual study instead of drawing figures as my warm up. For the others that's just basically linearts, I draw whatever I had in mind...? I hardly do warm up sketches or something.

Even in denial I think Tom (current Tom!) subconsciously really welcomes everything about Marco 😆 their last hug on the hallway was yearned through sheer subconscious want without any pandering of 'I hate this' so I really can't see him fighting the feeling unlike how strongly Marco does.

The song definitely fits Marco tho, it's feel majority like his pov starting from ch35 onwards! My guy owns that love-hate vibe alright lmao.

Because to me he gives the vibe he might like Meghan trainor, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, One direction, 5 seconds of summer and some Disney songs. I also like to think he would listen to some Spanish one's too and have a couple randomly added out of vibe for him song that he just loves, especially after Tom came.

Now, I definitely narrow it down to some pop-rock or any random songs that's sentimental enough after meeting Tom 🤧

Ohh, I can definitely see him listening to all of that! On rough days he'll go over Sam Smith and Shawn Mendez. I can see it now, where he's slump over his desk, grumpy, as he listens to 'if I can't have you' lmao. He'll probably replenish himself with one direction to wash away the feels though, or with Meghan's. As for disney songs, I actually think he'd sing along with La Llorona from Coco (idk I feel like he would, plus with dramatic gestures and all 😆) and would absolutely adore every songs from Tangled! Especially the 'I See the Light' !

Probably reminds him when they bloom gazing!

So my other adds, I think he'll like Lauv? I bet he'd love the humming parts lmao. Especially in 'Never Not' and 'i'm so tired..'
