A few weeks had passed, and Peter had an itch.
It felt like a venomous insect had been roaming his body for days, the dark parasite searching for a sweet spot to latch itâs fangs into â just like the spider that had granted Peter his unnatural abilities in the first place. It drove him insane, and for a few fleeting moments, Peter had thought heâd officially lost his head.
Realistically, you could easily blame it on his random depression episodes. Blaring some angsty rock and rap, sitting blankly as he wishes he could turn back time, or simply have another shot at this, aching for a fruitful life filled with friends and family as itâs been done before.
Heâs thought about you far too much for his own liking, but he couldnât control it. He didnât know what exactly it was about you, but heâs drawn to it. He liked it more than he should, and instead of fighting himself on the matter, heâd let himself slowly slip away into thoughts of you.
Fantasies consumed him, anything between taking you out on an official date, to absolutely fucking you raw. In moments like this, he didnât care about his identity anymore, he didnât care about this so called responsibility for his powers â he wanted to be free from it, he wanted you, he wanted life again.
âVoltage is key knowledge in terms of electrical engineering. You must memorize voltage like itâs a second language, or you might fry your entire system one day...â The professor goes on and on, Peterâs ears tuning in and out of his words as he carelessly writes chicken scratch into his notepad.
His highly-trained brain is hazed with images of your angelic bare body, his own body drunk from reliving his memory with you. He could almost feel the soft indents of your waist, your smooth lips against his, the gentle yet harsh grip on his biceps with your dainty hands, and the image of you looking up at him with those innocent little doe eyes of yours burned into his mind.
Fuck, they were so beautiful.
Peter thought he mustâve lost his mind, because youâve taken it over. He tried, he tried his hardest to block you out, but there was no denying how much he craved sharing his bed with you again, even if it was just one more time. Heâs never done drugs before, but he imagined they were much similar to you.
If thatâs the case, heâd never try them. He was utterly stuck on you like tape on paper, and he couldnât get enough.
It pained Peter â heâs slept with dozens of girls in the past, loving them and leaving them, usually just to get his quick fix in. But there was something about you that drove him wild, almost to the brink of insanity.
It was like he could smell you. That sweet and succulent scent of extremely sweet bourbon mixed with heavy amounts of vanilla, so alluring yet so sexy. It was like you were right there in the room, right next â
âVoltage actually can exist without a current. In the physical attributes of voltage, its a scalar field. Think of potential unit per charge at every point in space.â The answer is intricate and the voice is familiar, a bittersweet sound of annoyance and passion, and it pulls Peter from his thoughts. As he meets the back of yet another familiar back of her head, she continues. âThe voltage is always there. If a current is introduced, then it flows.â
She only sits a few rows ahead of him, and heâd bet a million dollars that it was her.
âHm. Then explain the purpose of a battery.â The professor challenges you.
âItâs basic fundamentals of Physics, actually.â You stop to take a quick sip of your iced coffee. âThe voltage is always there. Think about H2O and itâs recycling process as a loose simile for that. Once a current is introduced, only then it flows, creating a charge. That would establish, for example, a phone charging via itâs power cable, and into a wall jack.â
âHow kind of you to finally participate in my lecture for once. Very knowledgeable, Miss Stark.â The professor nods with a tight irritated smile.
Peter immediately begins to cough uncontrollably at the sound of that last name, his lungs desperately reaching for air as he suddenly stands from his seat, fleeing the auditorium with his things, and sprinting down the street once heâs past itâs doors.
Thatâs the moment when Peter gave himself a self-diagnosis of insanity.

âHello? Earth to Peter?â Harry walks along side his friend, whoâs distraught.
Thatâs how itâs been recently â Peter, quiet, his mind battling with itself as his thoughts trace back to you.
Itâs been a few more days, and Peter finally could understand the meaning of the madness in his brain, and although you sure are a pretty and fun girl that had unmistakably took full reign of Peterâs consciousness, you had also been the trigger.
Peter had realized how obsessed he was with distancing himself from society. The strict rules heâd constrained himself with has done him no justice, his happiness waining on a single police code that would sound through a shitty rigged radio.
Heâs tired of living like this.
âPeter. Bro. What the hellâs been going on with you?â Harryâs voice is demanding this time, but he now has Peterâs full attention.
âSorry man.â Peter laughs it off. âThinking about that girl again.â
As heâs come to his realizations, Peter has been allowing himself small freedoms â including telling Harry all about his night with you.
âI wish you at least asked for her name. I coulda actually helped you.â Harry shakes his head.
âYeah, I need to find her.â Peter sighs. âIâm tired of fucking random girls. Iâd really like to get to know her.â
âYeah, itâs great and all, but me and that new chick already broke up. Itâs not all sunshine and rainbows on the other side.â Harry laughs. âBack to the hook-ups we go!â
Peter rolls his eyes. The two enter the convention center, passing security as theyâre allowed their wristbands.
The Stark Expo is an event that the two would go to every year, a small tradition in their semi-long friendship, all thanks to Harryâs dad. As always, Peter would love to go. He enjoyed watching his old friends from afar, both Mr. Stark and Pepper, and occasionally, Dr. Banner. Heâd seep into the crowd, hearing their voices once again as heâd blend in as just another stranger.
âLetâs check out this yearâs inventions. I wanna see what heâs been up to.â Harry suggests, leading him further into the hall.
Peterâs standing around an encased watch, one thatâs suited for militaristic power. It was to be sported by a soldier, yet instead of being programmed as a lethal weapon, itâs described as a medical communicator.
With a sigh, he moves on to look at the next piece of tech that Stark has to offer.

âY/n, enough with the attitude. Youâre giving me stress wrinkles.â Your father, legendary Tony Stark, rubs his temples. âYouâre not going clubbing. I donât want to hear it.â
âWell Iâm not Iron Man. I donât even ââ
âSweetheart, thatâs enough. I said I donât want to hear it.â Tony sighs. âIf youâre inheriting this company, you donât need to be skipping out on the expo. You have a whole crowd out there waiting to hear from you and that brilliant brain I passed down to you.â
Your eyes dart out to the small sliver between the stage curtains, a large and excited audience awaiting your arrival; little did you know, your mystery boy from a few weeks ago was sitting in the crowd, curious to hear you speak.
Peterâs nerves eased as he went through the expoâs pamphlet, his eyes catching the headline of A Few Words From Y/n Stark. Harry had pointed it out and was eager to hear her speak, to which Peter grew curious. He had always heard that Tony had a daughter, even before Strangeâs spell; however, heâs never met her.
âShe goes to NYU with us, right?â Peter asks Harry as they navigate through the crowd, and into the auditorium.
âYeah, but she never shows up to her lectures. Sheâs supposedly crazy smart like her dad, and works at their labs and submits her class work online. I donât know, something like that, but anyways â sheâs also crazy hot. And she knows it. Sheâs every guyâs dream, but sheâs hard to get, and guys are scared of her dad.â Harry laughs, instantly spewing all of the insider details. âI would be, too. Her dad is fucking Iron Man.â
âI think sheâs in my electrical engineering class.â Peter says. âShe was at the lecture yesterday.â
âSheâs in most of mine. I try to talk her up sometimes, but Iâm pretty sure she hates me â or sheâs just playing hard to get. Again.â Harry shrugs.
The lights begin to dim, a spotlight igniting on the stage, the faint cheers in the crowd filling Peterâs ears. His eyes steady on the curtains, the anticipation killing him as he awaits your presence.
âYou think that I could talk to her after this?â Harry nudges him.
âWell after hearing you describe it? I doubt it.â Peter shakes his head, a laugh escaping his mouth.
âGood evening, New York City!â You announce it with a boom, your confident smile taking over the crowd as they cheer and whistle, a strong hand on your hip as the curtains whip behind you.
Peterâs breath hitches.
He mightâve not known yesterday in the lecture hall, and that made sense. His brain was jumbled from his own overthinking and poisonous daydreaming, he wasnât right in the head, so your voice didnât click back then.
Now, itâs clear as day.
Peter first notices your hair, and how itâs cleanly slicked back into a neat high pony tail. Then his eyes trail down to the purposely barely buttoned white silk dress shirt acting as a deep plunged top, tucked dangerously into a pair of long, sleek black leather pants, paired with some black pumps.
Powerful, put together, and incredibly striking â just like your father. You embodied the playboy philanthropist that the world, and Peter, had grown to love over the years.
âThank you all for coming out to see me tonight, it means a lot to me. Truly. Iâm touched.â Your voice is resilient, and your cockiness is unmatched. âI heard you all want to hear about some next level tech, yeah?â
The crowd answers you with rampant howling and fist pumps. You continue to speak about your own opening project within Stark Industries, avoiding any talk of your father or the Avengers.
âDude.â Peter is able to breathe again, his chestnut curls hanging low into his forehead as he violently taps Harryâs shoulder. âThatâs her.â
âI know. Iâm always right. Isnât she hot as hell?â Harry nods in approval, his eyes also scanning your body.
âNo, Harry, thatâs her.â Peterâs eyes are locked onto you as you walk and talk smoothly on the stage, charming the crowd with your facts. âThatâs the girl.â
âShut the fuck up, Parker.â Harry looks at him seriously. âYouâre telling me that you fucked Y/n Stark?â
âIâm 100% sure that I did, man.â Peter sighs, running a stressed hand through his chestnut curls.
Peter didnât know how to act. Heâs been dreaming of taking Tonyâs daughter home, staking a claim in her, and never letting her go â for weeks. This entire time, itâs been Tonyâs daughter thatâs infected his mind, and he didnât know how to feel about it.
Maybe itâs all too much. Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe heâs become a little too complacent.
âPlease tell me you fucked the hell out of her.â Harry didnât believe it, but from the look on Peterâs shocked and bewildered face, he knew Peter wouldnât lie like that.
âI fucking did.â Peter lets out a single dry laugh. âHarry, dude, what do I do? How the hell â thereâs not a chance that sheâd get with me again.â
âListen, Parker.â Harry puts his hands on Peterâs shoulders. âWhatever you did that night with her, do it again. Itâs that simple. Sheâs hard to get, man, and whatever you did worked on her â so do it again.â
X
Stepping backstage, you grab a water, your father already marching up to give you a pat on the back.
âYouâre a natural, kid.â Tony pinches your cheeks. âProud of you.â
âCan I ââ
âNo fucking club. Cut that shit out, Y/n.â Tony shakes his head in disappointment. âThe after party. Happy will be taking you, so you should probably go get ready.â
As you can tell, you had a love hate relationship with your fatherâs legacy. Sometimes it was too much for you and you wanted to leave and obtain some type of normalcy, and tonight happened to be one of those times.
âIâll wait for you in the car, alright?â Happy waves off at you as he heads towards the exit.
You scramble for your purse and your phone, checking your notifications quickly as you move with a purpose, your hips swaying and your long legs strutting as you begin to disappear down the quiet, empty hall.
Until you run into someone.
You scrunch your eyes and nose, bracing yourself as you land straight into someoneâs chest, and god was it hard.
âWatch where youâre going, asshole.â You scoff, shoving the body off of you â and itâs him.
His handsome curls, chiseled face, and deep brown eyes. Heâs wearing another flannel again, with some jeans, and he looked quite similar to when you had first met him.
âItâs nice to see you again, too.â He says cheekily, his eyes staring straight at your lips. âMiss me, princess?â
Your brows furrow, and for some reason, he left you breathless â more so because he was the last person youâd expect to run into.
âMiss you?â You softly laugh in entertainment, crossing your arms and narrowing your eyes at him as sarcasm sneaks itâs way into your voice. âI donât think Iâve ever missed a hook-up before, but sure dude, I missed you.â
Moving to walk past him, he stops you, his broad shoulders caving in as you as he backs you into the wall, a hand placed next to your head as he leans against it.
âDonât lie to me.â Peterâs voice is devilish and sultry.
Suddenly, you remember how you felt that night. How he touched you unlike anyone else, his rough hands clinging to your body as if they belonged on you, how you begged him to do his worst to you.
And for a second, your face flushes with embarrassment.
âWhat do you want from me?â You challenge him. Youâre one to play games, sure, but you wouldnât be melting into his arms that easily.
âFirst of all, drop the attitude.â Peter clenches his jaw as he swallows, his bobbing adamâs apple catching your attention. âSecond â donât lie to me. I know you wanted to see me again, didnât you?â
Heâs not wrong. You had thought about him for days and figured that if you ever had a fuck buddy, he wouldâve been the perfect candidate; however, it wasnât a pressing matter to you, and you thought youâd be better off unattached.
Your eyes scan his lightly warm skin before wandering up to his charming brown eyes as he gives you that semi-worried smoldering face, his tousled chocolate waves hanging down his forehead in the sexiest way.
âAnd what if I did?â You say it sweetly as you sigh.
âI donât know, Stark. Maybe Iâll think about taking you out to dinner this time before I fuck you.â His flat lined smile grows, flashing his perfect teeth. His calloused hands brush your cheek before tucking one single hair back into your ponytail. âWould you like that, gorgeous?â
âCome to the after party and meet me afterwards.â You say as you bite your cheek. âAnd Iâll think about it.â
X
The after party was like any other high-socialite gathering in New York City â overdone dresses, luxury dresses, and fake personalities. You didnât mind it, but god, was it boring.
You follow behind your father, who talks big money with CEOs and high influencers, socializing lightly with glasses of top shelf bourbon and finely aged wine in their hands. As they converse, you couldnât help but revisit the fantasies that swirl around your mind.
You still ran wild at the thrilling encounter you had with him in the hall way, his body pressed up against yours after so much time apart, the riveting sensation of him wanting you like he needed you. How he teased and toyed at you so perfectly, he was a rush and you felt it, you felt all of it, and you wanted to feel it again.
âMr. Stark. Nice to finally meet you.â Your eyes snap to attention, and heâs standing right in front of you. He offers your dad a firm handshake. âPeter. Peter Parker.â
Peter Parker.
He ignores you entirely, fully engaged with your father, his friend â Harry Osborne? â standing alongside them. It is Harry, and thatâs most likely how they got an invitation to the after party in the first place.
âYouâre a little too familiar, and I donât like it.â Tony says, throwing Peter a snobby and judge mental glare, swirling around his rock glass. âWhere do I know you from?â
âNot quite sure, sir, but I am a fan of your work and I go to your expos every year.â Peter nods. His heart drops a little at the reality of talking to Mr. Stark again, but it was an encounter that he missed greatly.
âHm. Very... well. Anyways, Sweetheart, maybe you should stay back with the Osborne kid and his friend.â Tony turns to you. âIâm gonna go find your mom.â
âMiss Stark, you look stunning.â Harry quickly chimes as your dad leaves.
âIâll punch you in the throat, Harry.â You say it annoyingly, rolling your eyes.
âHarry â go enjoy yourself at the bar while I talk to my girl.â Peter smiles handsomely at you, grabbing your waist firmly as he leads more like drags you outside, leaving Harry to fend for himself.
âWhat are you doing?â Youâre whisper shouting as the crisp New York air hits your skin, his strong arm still gripped tightly around your waist.
âI can tell you what Iâm not doing.â Peter says it firmly, guiding you around the building. âAnd thatâs waiting for you to make up your mind when you and I both know how badly you want this.â
In the alley, Peter pushes you against the wall again, your doe eyes wide at him as you begin to slip through his hands. He brings his face close to yours, hints of his warm breath tickling your skin.
âI really like you like this.â He whispers it ruggedly as he slightly presses his body into you, your own body squeezing against the wall. âLet me take you home.â
X
Your face presses against a solid, bare chest.
Quickly opening your eyes and propping yourself up, a plush white comforter falls down your waist as you then notice a sleeping Peter, his eyes shut beautifully as the sunlight hits his unclothed and very defined torso.
Heâs so attractive in the morning, the way his bouncy waves of brown hair fluffs perfectly, his clenched jaw lighting up every little definition in his face, the subtle dark circles under his eyes hinting that heâs rough around the edges.
Looking up, you notice that youâre in his apartment again, just as you were weeks ago. You didnât have anything on either, and as you look to throw on a nearby t-shirt, your mouth drops as you notice the tons of bruises on your body.
They coated you, purples and blues littering your skin as if youâve been thrown into the lionâs den â and as you reach to throw the shirt on, your muscles absolutely ache at slight movement.
Peterâs arm wraps around you, yanking you back into the spot next to him, his body instantly forming to yours as your head lands back onto the pillow. He stirs for a few moments, his fingers rubbing circles on your side â and although it felt nice, so nice, you couldnât believe what was happening.
âWhat are you doing?â You announce.
âTrying to sleep, obviously.â He breathes a groggy remark, followed by a yawn.
âPeter, get up.â
Peter opens his eyes, the angelic silhouette of your body leaving his bed as you adjust his Yankees shirt that you stole to cover up. As you head into his bathroom, he stretches, his own body tense from pounding you into the late hours of the night.
Peter scrambles to his feet, nothing but a pair of boxers on, stretching for a second time. Over into his kitchen area, he pours a glass of water.
âDo you hate me or something now?â Peter calls, his eyes trained on his glass.
âYes.â You shout back, opening the door of his bathroom. You walk straight up to him, crossing your arms as he sleepily eyes you. âDo you see this? What happened last night, Fight Club?â
Peterâs eyes dart to the bruises on your legs with satisfaction as he lightly chuckles, catching himself as he bites his laugh back.
âItâs not my fault you kept begging me to go harder.â He smirks cheekily. He moves to walk past you, quickly bends down to kiss your cheek, then smoothly gives you a little slap on the ass.
âHey!â You turn quickly, and as you do, you immediately notice the dozens of claw marks across his nakedly muscular back.
âWhat do you want for breakfast?â Peter nonchalantly turns his TV on, opening his phone to prepare a door dash order.
Obviously unspoken, the both of you were clearly hoping for each other. Thereâs a distinct connection each time both of your bodies collide, the two of you tasting sparks on each otherâs tongues as if youâve both been starved of love.
He wanted you to stay, and you didnât want to leave.
âI just need coffee, but I ââ
â10-45 reported on 49th and 6th, Rockefeller Center.â
Peter stands, his phone slamming to the floor as he quickly turns towards the radio.
â10-4, in route to the scene.â
âAs you were â squad 2 and 6, requesting backup.â
âFuck, I gotta go.â Peter rushes towards his bathroom.
âGo where?â You scrunch your nose at him. âWhat are you, a volunteer cop?â
âKinda, yeah.â Heâs digging through a clean laundry basket.
âOh, hell no.â You scoff immediately before aggressively walking towards your pile of clothes from last night. âNot this again.â
âWoah, woah.â Heâs holding a small piece of red fabric as he walks up to stop you. âWhere do you think youâre going?â
âFar away from you.â You roll your eyes, reaching to move past him, but he stops you, and you couldnât fathom how absurdly strong he is.
âListen to me.â Peterâs sudden boyish voice is gone as he becomes demanding, his light brown eyes darkening. His free hand reaches to grab your chin so you had no choice but to look straight at him. âYouâre going to sit your pretty little ass right here and make yourself at home while I go take care of this. Got me?â
âAnd why should I? I donât even know you.â Your voice is full of venom, yet you let him touch you.
âYouâre going to get to know me, just like Iâm going to get to know you.â He lightly smiles, and somehow, itâs menacing.
And you like it.
âFine.â You breathe. Suddenly, heâs ushering you into the bathroom. âWhat â Peter, what the ââ
âJust stay in here until I leave.â He closes the door. âDonât worry sweetheart, Iâll be back before you know it â and Iâll treat you to dinner tonight, too.â
Frustrated, you open the door right back â to find nothing but an empty apartment, and an opened window.
Just like that, youâre alone in Peter Parkerâs apartment.
Again.
X
Peter swings from building to building, his wrist swiftly aiming as he shoots his webs, his body nearly flying to the Rockefeller Center. Adrenaline pumps in his veins as he wraps his head around the 10-45 â a bomb.
As he does, he knew heâd have to make it quick and seamless. After all, he has to get back home to you before he loses you again.
Maybe, thatâs what it was â losing you again. Fierce, ruthless, and flawless; he knew from the start that youâre a dominant and compelling young woman. You had dragged him out of his lonely misery, and for that, he adores you.
Peter had a gut feeling that it wasnât just erotic, passionate sex. Itâs not the crippling need to be with you, or to lay you down and kick you out like so many other poor girls heâs wasted time with.
You showed him a sense of promise, you made him feel needed. He saw that with you, thereâs a potential to feel loved by someone again, almost like youâre the ticket back into life itself.
And although you only gave him the smallest glimpse of hope, it was the only hope he has left.
