Stop/Eject, a short film which I co-wrote is screening at this year's Raindance. If you are in London on the 30th September please go see it! I'm hoping to be there too.
A ZOMBIE movie produced by a Derby film company is set to be released in countries across the world. Bosses at Light Films have clinched a deal with a distributor that will see Wasteland hit...
A few years ago I teamed up with Derby based Light Films Ltd and wrote them a low-budget zombie flick. After a few years filming, editing and all that the movie has been picked up and has distribution, which is pretty excellent news!
The only details I have about the release are from the article in the Derby Telegraph so have a read but I'll keep people posted with what I know about the movie as and when I have more details.
A very interesting read but it is a little brain-melting to get your head around it. Even the article doesn't clearly define the difference between the two but I think I understand what they are driving at.
Les Beehive – Rocky Horror Picture Show character portraits by Mick Rock
One of the best movies ever!
Wise words
Here's a new blog from Night Owls writer/director Sophie Black. I have worked with Sophie a few times over the years (Stop/Eject, Wasteland, Shelf Stackers) and she is one of the most talented filmmakers I know. Night Owls is the first time we've actually created a movie together though, screenplay upward, and it was a pleasure. One of the most fun and inspiring film shoots I have been on Please read her thoughts on making the movie and I'll be sure to post more info on the film as it goes through post-production.

It's always good to have a bit of Kevin Smith on your blog
The Film Festival of the Edinburgh Fringe
The times and dates for the screening of Pro Kopf (The Maid) at this years Fringe have been released. We're playing in MixTape 1 on the Thursday and Sunday of the CineFringe program. If you're at this years Fringe and fancying a few cracking short films then MixTape 1 is for you. And not just because Pro Kopf is on, also showing a short film called JUMP in that screening which is one of my favourite short films. Please check us out and if you do get in touch. Tommy
Here are some more behind-the-scenes from Night Owls. These were taken over the 2 day shoot by Dimitri Yiallourou (I hope I spelt that right!)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
One of my favourite movie moments
The fishes at Chatsworth.
Here's the latest festival to take Pro Kopf into its warm embrace.
