A Beautiful June Saturday

Today was perfect. I mean, it wasn’t anything extravagant. But... there were so many small special moments that I know I will remember for the rest of my life. 

We woke up around 8am & you went upstairs to roll (after our morning poos lol). Then, we watched season 3 of Dark. It’s mad weird lol. You cooked breakfast. It was avocado toast with tomatoes and eggs. It was delicious! Thank you, babe <3

After two episodes, you went upstairs after a couple of episodes to play the game. I stayed in the living room & napped. I’ve been so sleepy these days and crampy (PMS). I woke up, we played Animal Crossing (Bug Off day), we ordered Chipotle, we kicked the ball around & we danced. It was so much fun. You are so much fun. 

You made me feel blessed from the moment I opened my eyes this morning & you do this every day of my life. I am so lucky. Thank you for being you & loving me. I love you, my handsome.

Lately, I have been realizing the little glimpses of heaven God has blessed me with. & my God.... I feel so heavenly from your love.

Like the way you crack your sleepy eyes open to see me in the morning, because I am always the first one to get up and start my day, & you open your arms to embrace me.

Like how can one fill me up so much within the first minute of waking up? The way you make me feel so loved, is my coffee. On the coldest, rainiest mornings... you are my coffee.

Random Saturday Morning Thought

I feel like we are getting it together. 

Baby, this marriage thing definitely is not as easy as I thought it would be, but it is so beautiful. We overcome a lot together, all simply due to us loving one another.

I wouldn’t have chosen a better partner, I genuinely do not believe so.

It is really hard to process that the person who I love the most makes me so sad sometimes. 

I feel like there isn’t a week that passes, since we’ve been married, that we don’t argue or I end up crying about the way you made me feel. 

I am sad that I didn’t imagine it to be this bad so often. It scares me that it will always be this way, or that we end up giving up because it was always this way.

This sucks, alot.

I had a horrible day. I cried a lot. I felt horrible all day. I was venting to you & you became the worst part of my entire day.

I told you that we may be pregnant... & I find out 20 minutes later the man that I just married still lies and hides things from me.

I truly think I made the wrong decision & I feel trapped.

I told you that I wanted to quit smoking soon so I could get a job. I asked if you’d join. You said no. I expressed how I wished you would.

You started with an argumentative tone, I told you I didn’t want to argue... so you turned the TV back on.

I feel pretty disappointed, but I just have to get used to you not being able to support me in the way I wish you would sometimes...

I was reading a post from one of my favorite blogs. She asked her followers to tell her about a time they fell in love.

Then I read a post where it said “Something being temporary does not take away from something being real”. It made me think about our upcoming union. 

It said “You can spend an afternoon just being around them and you’ll remember it for the rest of your life. The sky could come crashing down and all you’d think was how glad you were for spending the last few of hours in their arms”... & I thought of our love.

Our amazing love.

Our first date, where the night was dark and it was so quiet on the Avenue. The night where I met my soulmate. How crazy is that? I remember every little detail about that night and how perfect it was. 

I am BEYOND blessed to have met your soul that night.

Babe, you had an interview for the IT position at your job today. We want this so bad for you because it’s good money & it opens some good doors for you.

I want this for you so much because you’re so deserving of this big step.

We prayed together tonight, for the first time babe... & I am more in love with you than I have ever been. It felt amazing to talk to God together. I appreciate our bond evolving each day. I am very thankful we are truly introducing God more into our lives and TOGETHER.

Baby!

I haven’t written in awhile! Life haws been so busy! But we have 2 more weeks of the semester! You will have finished your first semester at Towson and I will be a college graduate!

I have to say... it was amazing have you by my side through this journey because this last semester was no walk in the park. You make everything better, I hope you know that.

You are going to get fitted for suits tomorrow with your groomsmen! I cannot WAIT to see you in a suit boyyyyyyy! You won’t be able to take it off all night because I know you are going to look so freakin handsome!

Well, I am going to keep this short because I know that I can go on forever lol.

It is 10:30 PM & you just came over to me (you’re smacked) and said,

“I wanted to write this to you, but now I just want to say it.” You held my hands and smiled at me.

“I was listening to a song by Michael Jackson called, Can’t Help It. & I kept thinking how I can’t help, but be in love with Kyasia. I know these next months will be stressful with school, but we got eachother. I can’t wait to come home to you everyday. Today I was excited to just make you smile, and when I opened the door you were there smiling. I love that”....
