Camila narrowed her eyes slightly at the words of her brother. Be on her toes. She knew that if she had been the person seated inside the tank, then she would’ve been saying exactly the same things as he was right now. It was good to hear that he broke off his sentence when the third ball nearly hit the target, he knew that she was getting closer and closer. But he was right. His words were motivation enough to want this. Her gaze was set on Toni as she smiled at him. “I do think you will have to find Nemo soon, because I have a good feeling about this next one,” she let him know as she threw the ball up in the air before catching it again. Another cheering sound came from their public and Cami focused on the target once more. After she took a deep breath, she threw the fourth ball at the target and… It hit! The dunk tank was set into motion, the seat disappearing from underneath Toni’s body and a splash of water was what followed next. “Yes!” Cami yelled with a laugh, her arms up in the air as she took in the applause from the people who had been watching. She moved from behind the table she had been standing, to move closer to the dunk tank. “So, how’s the water in there? I guess you’re happy you bought that new jacket now, because you at least have something dry to wear now.”

+ Toni could see the look of determination on his sister’s face. The realization that he was about to be dunked into the water started to set in, but Toni was still holding onto the little hope that he had that his sister would completely miss both of the shots she had left. When the fourth ball was thrown, Toni didn’t have any time to react until he was underwater. The water was easy to stand up in, but he didn’t expect the temperature to be freezing cold. Rising quickly to the top, Toni shook his head to get as much water as he could out off his face and eyes. “ Holy fucking shit this is cold.” Toni didn’t respond to his sister until he’d been out of the dunk, already taking off the shirt that was given to him and replacing it with the one he wore before getting inside of the tank. “ You got me.” He said right before putting on his new jacket. “ I don’t think you understand how cold that water was. I know it’s impossible to keep the water warm in a dunk tank but they didn’t need to have it be THAT cold. Just know I’m going to somehow get you back, but you don’t have to worry about that happening any time soon because you deserve the glory from that one.” Toni was shivering, though he was being a bit extra. He started walking the opposite direction, expecting his sister to follow him. “  He...uhhh....I know you’re still riding from the high of throwing me to the water gods..but I need to get something off my chest. You won’t believe who I ran into at the festival. Your exes brother, Sebastian.”

Toni: That's the plan. Why do you ask?

Toni: Come on !!!! My van is the best companion for late night runs. You don't even have to drive.

Vivi smiled at his excitement and watched him. Her brows raising at him before she shook her head, “no just a few dresses and shirts but uh.. they didn’t completely have my eye yet. Definitely not the same reaction that jacket had from you.” She tucked some loose strands behind her ear and shrugged, “I can appreciate them but I have to admit,” her nose scrunched, “I’m a sucker for the art here more so than though clothes.”

Toni was an adult child in the sense that it was easy to get him excited about things he enjoyed, especially if they were clothes, weed, or food.  “  well, I support anything you get. people really don’t understand how much I love clothes. my entire closet got so full I had to buy one of those racks you can assemble.” He kept seeing more clothing he wanted to buy, quickly turning his full attention towards Vivi to prevent any more purchases for the rest of the day. “Have you seen some of the art here? I don’t mind going with you. I saw a lot of cool canvases not too far from here. It really is amazing the talents people have here.”

Colt shot one last grin back at the table that he’d left, knocking into it on his way out as well before he cleared the tent so that someone could take his seat. There was a bit of a line by now, something that he’d skipped and cut for a chance to get his face painted before too many people were giving him weird looks as he stumbled backwards towards Toni. “You know you may have a point there ‘cause that tiger is probably loaded just by slinging cereal. I could do that. Hell, it would beat the shit out of the work I have to do now that doesn’t pay anything,” he continued, ignoring the fact that he was not at all tactful with his words around children. Or the fact that the only reason that he had a job at all was because of his parents.

- Toni didn’t understand why, but he always avoided getting his own face painted ever since he was a child. There was no explanation that made since that he could think of, and he was content with that. “ You could probably buy whatever you wanted at this festival for years to come if you had Tony The Tiger money. And you’re telling me. I put in extra hours at work and still manage to never have enough. People that can save money have my respect, because that I can never do.” Toni’s money went towards rent, food, clothes, and weed - which were all expensive. He’d been trying to shoot for a manager role at his job but knew that was going to be a while. “ So Colt, how have you been? I know you’re still on the ranch”. Toni used to primarily work on his family ranch until his mother passed away, so he’s well aware of the hardships that come with working on the ranch.

“It’s not often I get both of my favorite cousins in the same room.” Luciana dropped down into the empty dining room chair. Having the Reyes over was something Luciana tried to do often since returning back to Bradford Springs. The luck that she had been brought back into their lives had been a miracle and she had wanted to take advantage of it. “I didn’t know how hungry you were so I ordered a whole lot from Firehouse – that doctor salary pays off sometimes.”

Toni always made sure to arrive to places on time. Growing up on a ranch taught him the value of being on time, especially when there were people waiting for you. He’d been rocking his new Looney Tunes jean jacket he got at the festival, clearly proud of his latest find. Toni quickly hugged his cousin upon arriving before making his way to the dinner table. “ I’m in heaven.” Toni stated as he took a seat in his chair. “ You don’t understand how hungry I am right now. Having the munch-” He bit his lip. “ I mean, when you do as much as me. Food is always the key to my heart.” Toni avoided bringing any attention to his slip of the tongue, but deep down he knew that one or both of them caught it.

“I’m pretty sure that eye that beholds this has to be blind to find any beauty in it. And even then I have my doubts,” he shook his head as he chuckled lightly. Ephram couldn’t help but smile a bit as Toni tried to encourage him. “I appreciate that but I am definitely down at the bottom ranked. But it looks even worse sitting next to Picasso over here.” His eyes lit up in surprise when he looked over at what Toni had been working on. “No wonder you wanted to come over here. I should have cheated off of you.”

“ Alright, I tried to think of a clever response out of that one but you got me. It really doesn’t look bad, give me some leeway here.” Toni had been painting on one of the mason jars they could craft. The first image that popped into his mind was a forest with the trees wrapping around the jar, a river at the bottom, and a simple sun at the top. “ I spend a lot of time painting at the dispensary I work at so I have a little more practice.” He smiled from cheek to cheek at the comparison to Picasso, that being one of the best compliments he’s gotten with one of his paintings. “ Come on now, you’re going to have me smiling so hard I’m going to get paint on myself. I just got this jacket, you know.” The jean jacket he had on contained several patches with the Looney Tunes on it along with every character patched on the back of it. “How have you been by the way, you know, besides becoming the next Michaelangelo?”

“Are you sure you want to keep teasing me like that because yes, I have missed the first throw but the more you keep talking like that, the more I am really determined to actually hit the target,” Camila pointed out to her brother as her eyes were focused on him for just a moment. The need to actually hit the target only grew more and more with every word Toni spoke to her. She focused on the target once more and threw the next one. It was closer to the target than the previous one. Some sounds came from the people that had become public to the two siblings and for a moment Cami scrunched her nose. The fact that people were watching right now, did not help her either. Pressure was not something that she needed at this moment. “I keep hoping that you will just stop pranking me out of nowhere one day but I guess that’s just wishful thinking.” Her gaze moved from her brother to the people surrounding them at the moment, they made some cheering sounds in her direction as her brother mentioned that she could not disappoint them. She quickly focused on the target once more, taking a deep breath before throwing the next one that actually grazed the target but did not set the dunk seat in motion. “You are lucky, Toni. I have two tries left and that one was pretty damn close already. I do have a feeling that you are going to have some wet clothes after all.”

- Toni didn’t mind either the outcome, whether it be getting dunked or staying dry. He enjoyed spending time with his sister, especially when he hasn’t been seeing his other family members nearly as much as he’d use to. Toni getting dunked would make her happy, and he wouldn’t admit it but he was rooting for her to make the shot. Though he still would brag for a very long time if she missed. He continued to heckle her as she missed her next shot, sensing the pressure was only going to build up. “ Didn’t we learn at a young age to always be on our toes? I’m only making sure you remember.” Toni gave a thumbs up to the crowd, “I think I might as well get comfortable up here. There’s no way you’re going to make these last two sho-” He heard the ball hitting what sounded like the target, bracing himself for the dunk by closing his eyes quickly. Thankfully the target wasn’t hit, but Toni was fully aware she’d been close. Cami’s shots were getting better, which brought a smile to his face. “I’ll admit, I thought I was about to find Nemo. But just like before, you still missed.” Toni let out a forced fake laughter, only adding fuel to the invisible fire. “ You need to make your shot before you talk about my wet clothes. If you miss these next shots you’re never going to hear the end of this from me. That should give you enough motivation.”

“I mean, maybe? We didn’t watch a lot of tv growing up.” June shrugged. In school it came up on occasion and sometimes she would attempt to catch up with something if it was newer just to fit in. But, she never really fit anywhere no matter how she tried, at times. “The adults kicked us out of the house as soon as we ate breakfast and we were only allowed back in for meals, bathroom breaks, and bed. Unless we wanted to watch the news with them.” Her eyes rolled. She would much rather choose what news to read on her phone, not sit through an hour long daily update on what’s going on in Larimer county. 

June gave him a matter of fact nod with a wide smile attached. “I truly cannot decide and if I bring four new scarves home I know I’ll regret it. Three is already too many.” Especially with how attached she seemed to get to each one. It was stupid to get attached to material things but for whatever reason, head scarves were her one downfall besides a few key pieces of jewelry she hardly wore to keep them safe. “Excellent choice, thank you, love.” She put the other one back and fished some cash from her pocket to pay for them. “Oh, I don’t know, okay I guess? Fine.” June shrugged and let out an awkward laugh. “Same as always I suppose. How are you? Did I ask you that already?” On a regular basis, she wasn’t quite sure about anything. It was truly building to be a major problem.

- “ There’s no better time than the present. You can watch a lot of the episodes on YouTube. I will say though, the cartoons are a lot better when you aren’t sober. They are still entertaining.”  There was a lot of work to do on the ranch while growing up, but Toni was a child who always woke up earlier than anyone else. He’d been able to turn the television on to catch a lot of the older shows that he would watch with both of his grandparents. The man was big into cartoons as a child and would beg his parents to let him watch certain television shows even when work had been going on. Being the youngest child had its perks.  “ That also means youve never seen Space Jam? Not the new one. The original with Michael Jordan where he teamed up with the Looney Tunes to play basketball against these monsters called Monstars.” The entire conversation brought back memories of happier times, ones that didn’t involve the responsibilities he’s expected to have as an adult. 

“ You’re speaking to someone who will drop a bunch of money buying clothes he doesn’t need. If you want a responsible conversation on not spending money, you’re going to need to talk to my sister. You shouldn’t feel bad though, everyone has their thing.” Toni’s problem was that he had too many ‘things.’ If he saved his money he’d be in a much better place, but between clothes, weed, and video games he was far from stopping.

He continued looking at the clothes while listening to the voice in the back of his head telling him he wasn’t spending any more money. “ When there’s no bad news, that’s always good. “ He said with a smile. “ I’ve been alright. Working at the dispensary and playing guitar as usual. Trying to be an adult as well with a strong emphasis on trying. My grandma keeps asking when I’m going to bring a boy home.” Toni didn’t know what to say when someone asked about him so he tended to ramble.

Honestly, Sebastian hadn’t really given much thought about who he might run into in town, most of his head spinning with thoughts of his father, his mother, brother and sister and dealing with all that. But as much as he had put Bradford Springs in his rearview mirror, this was home. He had been born and raised here, there were plenty of memories that involved not just his family but other people in town. He knows logically there are a lot of people in town who hadn’t left, that this smal idle town had been enough. One such individual spoke his name now. Even without turning to see who spoke his name, Sebastian recognized that voice.

He turned to face Toni, a blast from the past- the two of them had been…friends but there had always been hints of something else between them. Funny, how even after all this time, there’s still a favorable memory of times spent. Though reality is set back in…back in Bradford Springs…and Sebastian’s not sure he thought this through that much. “Um…yeah, i’m back.” He says more awkward then it should be, wondering how he’s supposed to proceed. Does he hug the other? Does he shake his hand? Do they just stand there frozenly as they are now and forget the rest of the crowd that he swears is watching them and yet no one actually is.

“I’m doing okay, hanging in there.” He offers, because he’s not really sure how he’s supposed to explain any of this. My dad’s dying and were all gathered here in his last days. Refocusing the conversation, “It’s a surprise to see you to. You look good.” He said because what else was he supposed to? “How are things with you?”

Toni rubbed at the back of head, for once he seemed to be worried about saying the right thing rather than the first that came to his mind. He really wished he'd been high, but that wasn’t the proper way to get through every somewhat awkward encounter in life. There were hardly people that returned to their town after leaving unless something brought them back, but Toni would rather Sebastian tell him on his own. They hadn’t seen each other in years, better to start off their reunion on the right foot. Even though it’d been years since they’ve seen one another, Toni didn’t think it would be this hard nor this awkward for him.

“ Same here. I honestly didn’t think we’d ever see each other again so I’m a little shocked to see you.” Would it be appropriate to ask if he’d planned on contacting Toni when he arrived in town? He wouldn’t judge Sebastian for it at all, because his approach would have been the same. Toni smiled, though it was a surprising meet-up, he was still happy to see his old friend. “ Thank you. I was going to ask if you ever picked up modeling. I used to tease you about it, but now I mean it.” Toni had this habit of really speaking before thinking in situations such as these. “Well. I got a job at the local dispensary here years ago and have been there since. I don’t work on the ranch as much, but still help when they need me. I live in an apartment on the Southside and drive a van. Aside from that, that’s pretty much it. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but I enjoy it. What about you? Are you staying or visiting? We should catch up. It really is good to see you..”

“Honey, you are wearing a white shirt. If I dunk you in this tank, you will probably get even more boys coming your way with a drenched white, see through shirt,” Camila countered the argument that her brother had given her. A smile was on her lips at the sight that he did not put up a fight and that he was getting on the seat above the tank. She knew that when it came to a fun bet like this, her brother was always in. And it was the other way around as well. Cami was pretty sure that she wasn’t going to walk away from this without having a seat on the one above the tank as well. The man that was standing with the tank came forward to her with a set of baseballs that she could use to hit the mark and give Toni some wet clothes. Five chances in total. “I have five chances to make you end up in that water. You and I both know that I won’t let this go to waste,” she argued before focusing on the target for the first time and throwing the ball. She missed, with quite a bit but at least she now knew how heavy the ball feld during throwing it and if she needed to throw harder or not. “That prank was not god-tier by the way. Just a bit below. The one you pulled on me a few years ago with that bucket was much god-tier.”

“ You have to actually dunk me first, Cami. ” He teased once more from inside the dunk tank. The point of these tanks was to be all talk with a lot of heckling, but he hoped she really would miss because the weather wasn’t the warmest to be getting soaked. Changing in wet clothes helped ease his mind to an extent though his sister missing her five throws would really put him at ease. “ Considering you’re the athletic one it would be embarrassed if you missed. Do you really want me, the youngest sibling, having bragging rights over this for the rest of my li-” He watched her throw the ball, sighing silently to himself when the ball missed.

“ These clothes might actually dry out because there’s no way you’re going to hit that target.” Toni was the youngest which made him an expert in the art of being annoying. “You talk like I don’t have more time left in my life to keep pranking you. But like I said, I may not even need to if you fail at your own scheme.” A few people were forming in front of the tank, as they obviously were people who also wanted to see Toni get dunked. “You’re going to need to straighten up your shot, Cami. Otherwise you’re going to disappoint the people behind you.”

Location: Wildflower Festival - Performance Row

He makes it back to Bradford Springs for the last day of its annual event, the Wildflower Festival. It’s strange being there, memories in town that seem so long ago and the familarity of it all. Sebastian had seen the junior rangers following animal prints earlier and he remembers taking part in those adventures. The town always seemed to small and far away from everything and coming back under the circumstances, well, let’s just say he was putting off going home as long as he could. He finds himself in performance row, where the street performers are lined up and doing their thing. He stops where one of the local magicians is performing a magic trick and watches with the crowd. The magician tears up a playing card which was selected by the audience and puts it in an envelope and says the typical ‘abra cadabra’ and then when he opens the envelope again the card was in one piece.  “When I was little, I thought this stuff with the coolest thing ever.” He says to whoever is standing close by to hear.

Toni’s time at the festival was one to remember, with the amount of food and clothing he purchased were going to result in him needing to avoid spending any money for the next few weeks. His spending habits were a problem he’d address another day, but until then, he was going to enjoy what little time he had left. There were many memories the festival had brought him as he’s attended every festival since he was in diapers. This was a town that he planned on spending his entire life in, as he didn’t think or plan to leave when everything he could ask for in life was within the town of Bradford Springs. Toni planned on walking towards his van as his high was running out, which meant the deep thinking would only continue.

The magic show going on was one he planned on catching after his quick break to his van. Things he didn’t understand always fascinated him when he’d get stoned, always capturing his attention as if actual witchcraft was being performed. When Toni spotted the familiar blonde from his past, he practically froze.

“ Sebastian?” He said in shock, his mouth hanging slightly while his body was still completely still. “You’re back..in Bradford Springs.” Toni had a bunch of questions that he wanted to ask, but wasn’t sure that a crowd full of people at a festival was the best place. “I mean, it’s good to see you, but I’m just surprised to see you. It’s been a while. H-how have you been?”

Though Evelyn had thoroughly enjoyed attending the festival with Hazel, time to herself wasn’t something she got all to often, especially not since losing Damian. So, when her nanny had offered to keep Hazel in for the evening to allow Evie a few hours of personal time, she had taken the offer- begrudgingly. While personal time and space were things which she had always enjoyed, in many ways it seemed as though they were things she had far too much of these days, in ways completely unrelated to her daughter. 

Making her way slowly through the booths and vendors, she considered heading for the stage, interested in who might be performing during the early evening hours. On her way, however, she was distracted by the racks of gorgeous vintage clothing on display from one of the vendors. She’d been perusing the racks slowly, not necessarily pressed to buy anything herself, but more interested in browsing, deciding whether or not she might come across that would speak to her. 

Evelyn was lost within her own mind when a nearby voice snapped her back to reality, and she turned abruptly on her heel, her fingertips flying to rest against her heart. “Oh, goodness. I’m so sorry, I must have been lost in my own thoughts.” With a shake of her head, she offered a bright smile before dropping her eyes to take in the garment the other was presenting. “Gosh, Loony Tunes?! I haven’t thought about that show in years! This is incredible!” Her head nodded excitedly as she stepped to the side to admire the jacket from a different angle. “If it were any other jacket, I would say to pass. But I’m not sure I’ve ever seen something quite like that, it’s very unique. I’d say go for it!” Laughing, she gave the other a thumbs up. “I’m Evelyn, by the way, Evelyn Fairchild. You look familiar, I think I’ve seen you around town.”

Toni would never judge someone for getting lost in their own thoughts, as that was the norm for him. Smoking as much as he does will put him in trances where he’s so deep in his head that only time pulled him out. “ No apologies needed. Happens to the best of us.” The longer Toni wore and thought of the jacket, the more it was growing on him. His mind was weighing the cons and negatives of the jacket even though the battle was growing pointless because he was leaning towards purchasing it.

“ Thank you! I’m glad I encountered someone who agreed. Bugs Bunny was my favorite because of how chaotic he was. It’s crazy a show that was on for so long still has this much of a hold on me I’m willing to spend this much for the price.” He took another look at the print on the back of the jacket, looking for any sign that he’d be able to negotiate the price. There were often vendors who bought in bulk and rarely looked at the condition of their clothing - this vendor was not one of those. “ You are reading my mind right now. Alright. Alright. Alright. Yeah, I’m going to purchase this jacket.” Toni smiled at the woman, glad she was his final say in buying the jacket.

The vendor had been held up by someone who was purchasing more clothes than Toni, meaning he had more time to talk to the woman who introduced herself as Evelyn. “It’s a pleasure to meet you!” Toni nodded. “ Yeah, born and raised here, so we’ve probably run into one another before. My family owns a horse ranch and I also work at the local dispensary. Are you from here?”

The familiar culprit took the edge off Finn’s stance. In general, any form of physical contact that wasn’t expected or announced instantly got a reaction from the blonde. Even if, in this case, it was his own fault. “I can tell.” Finn retorted with a grumble, the quick spike of adrenaline dissipating almost as fast as it came. He exhaled the remainder of it and lifted the glass to take a drink of beer. It was hard to stay upset when someone with a voice as soothing as Ms. Nick’s was filling the air. 

“You and my sister both.” Which was to be expected amongst the stoners that were all too common everywhere you went in Colorado. “I’m sure being higher than a kite doesn’t help the situation much either, yeah?” He exhaled a quick chuckle and went to work finishing off his corn dog. Eating something was sure to put him in a better mood, it usually did. Then again his good mood was still what most people considered a bad one. At least that’s what his sister would tell him, usually along the lines of grumpy old man. “One of the best concerts I’ve been to, not that I seen a lot, but I’ve always liked Stevie and Fleetwood Mac.” He agreed and nodded. “I think the mountain air adds to her whole… what do ye kids call it? Vibe? Somethin’ like that.”

“ Helps more than it hurts.” Many people would disagree with that statement, but Toni usually avoided conventional definitions of right vs wrong. He’d always been excited to run into Finn, enjoying his many attempts to get the other to smile. Toni took a few more bites from his turkey leg while doing everything he could to avoid getting any food or liquid on his new jacket he purchased at the festival. “ Vibe is the right word. And you keep speaking like you’re this old man. You’re not that much older than me, Finn.” Weed usually had Toni in the high spirits with the downside of him dropping the filter that he already didn’t have. The arguments he’d often have with his father in the past and present were a little more bearable, but once the high was over he still had reality to face.

“ If you love that kind of music, you should really check out other alternative or indie artist. Those ‘vibes’ are pretty common. That’s a lot of what I play on my guitar.” Finn drank from his lemonade and took another bite from his turkey leg. The taste of both items left a gleeful expression on his face. “ So, how have you been enjoying the festival? You’ve done more than listen to the music - right?” One of the more noticeable characteristics of Finn was he’s normally seen with a smile on his face, especially when he was around someone he enjoyed talking to (though the former may not always be as happy to see him).

“You only live once.” Jaylen nodded. Sometimes you just had to make that purchase. Nonetheless, he was not disgraced if someone didn’t take the words he spoke. The man just had a realist approach in case the other wanted to save some money. Life was definitely not meant to be lived waiting around. You had to enjoy it. It was far too precious. He knew that first hand with his job and his past. “Don’t worry I won’t tell you practice makes perfect. Some things are just not meant for some people. When I was a kid, my Mom enrolled me in some sculpting pottery class. Let’s just say I was grounded when I decided it would be an awesome idea to make mud balls instead.” The man laughed at the memory. He ended up chuckling them at his older brother, because he thought it would be comical to have the upper hand for once. It was memories like these he would cherish. Definitely worth the punishment that was given. Jaylen’s hues looked on in interest. Did he believe the other? With a shop like this absolutely not. But when there’s a will, there’s a way. He wasn’t going to be negative or blunt with something that filled someone with such excitement. “Could always be worse.” He instead commented. “I don’t think I’m hip enough to be wearing anything like this.” The one good thing about his career, most of his clothes were work related since he was always at the hospital. Maybe, the plus side was more it limited himself in trying to find an outfit each workday. Indecisiveness was a killer for sure. “I’m not against leather jackets. But I think the one I’ve owned for years now might get their feelings hurt if I decided to branch out to get a new one.” Jaylen had a classic vibe to him outside of his work life. A perfect jacket had the essence of a lifestyle though. That and he was a huge sneakerhead. That accessory could make or break an outfit. And to him, it was most important.

“ That honestly sounds like a hobby I could get down with. Though my vision of a bowl is probably something a pottery class won’t be able to teach.” He really needed more hobbies. That would probably give him something to do outside of working and spending his time smoking. “But you aren’t wrong,sewing would be a superb skill to learn. Would be really useful when I have down time at the dispensary.” His attention went from the conversation to the jacket, hoping his sister didn’t ask him the price when he’d inevitably show her the jacket because he would not lie (even if he tried, she’d see right through it). Toni was happy the man didn’t question his purchase and was now trying to get his mind to stop thinking over a decision he’d already made. “You don’t think you’re hip enough? Not with that attitude. You’re a handsome man. I doubt there’s an item or accessory you can’t pull off.” He was being completely honest, and Toni was always going to let someone know when they were attractive in a situation such as this. “That’s the thing about clothes. You can’t give them feelings, otherwise people would wear their favorite pair of pants every day.”

Toni kept seeing more clothes that, in his mind, were screaming at him to check out. The voice of his dad ran through his mind, letting him know just how bad of a decision that is considering he needed to work on saving rather than spending. He eyed more clothing, though he kept his hands away from his pockets. “ So, how’s your time been at the festival? It happens every year, but there’s never been a bad year.”

This was the second time June had found herself wandering in the vendor marketplace at the festival. To be fair, the first time she was interrupted by running into Colt and that was an entire distraction that had her forgetting what she had been doing in the first place.  Which is what brought her back to the area later when he’d said something about face paintings and meeting up with his twin. It was the perfect time for her to do some focused shopping before there was some missed opportunity on a really cool one of a kind item. Missing out on things was the absolute worst feeling. 

Her attention was taken by a wide assortment of vintage and handmade head scarves. She had quite a few of her own at home but they wore out easily, especially since she spent most of her time in the sun with the horses in the warmer months. That was also how she justified buying more but she was limiting herself to only three. Two were already chosen when she heard Toni speak up. “Huh? Oh, um,” June turned to look at the jacket on him. “I think it looks good on you, definitely buy it. Who are the Looney Tunes?” She understood they were the characters on his new jacket but other than that they sounded like one of those joke bands, like Weird Al. “Hey Toni, come over here and help me choose between this wildflower scarf that I think is hand stitched or this blue one with all the stars on it.” June held both up the options for him to see.

Toni’s mouth opened wide, shocked she’s never heard of the legends that are George Washington Bunny and Daffy Horatio Tiberius Duck. The characters were huge parts of his childhood and gave birth to one of his favorite movies - Space Jam. “You really have never heard of the Looney Tunes? Yeah. We are going to have to have a binge party soon because the characters are classics.” He’d been so caught up on someone not knowing what the Looney Tunes were that he didn’t see the vendor behind him with the card reader behind him. “Hold that thought.” Toni pulled out his wallet, pushing the card into the chip reader - ignoring the $50 tag that he’d regret at some point. 

“ You’re really going to make me choose when you know you can rock both of them.”  He said, mostly because he hated deciding. In his own anxious brain, every decision had this major impact even when they were as small as this one. Toni folded his arms while thinking over the decision. He thought about and preferred the wildflower because he was a sucker for floral patterned clothing and accessories, as a majority of his button-ups were decked out with the patterns. “ Okay. I’m going to go with the wildflower. Tis the festival season, right?” Toni jokingly sighed as if he just made a life-changing decision. “How have you been by the way?”

Family was one of the most important things in Camila’s life so to be able to make her way through the festival with her brother. He was only two years younger than her but that didn’t even make a big difference. But you could definitely see that they were two completely different people. From the moment that Cami had walked onto the square with many booths, she had already known what was going to be her destination. A smile had been playing on her lips for the entire time already but she had not spilled anything on what she had been planning. Her arm was hooked through one of her brothers and stopped in front of the tank. A dunk tank. “So, I dare you to take a seat there,” she told Toni, her gaze moving from him to the seat that was above the water tank. “You know, as payback on that prank you pulled last week. Even though it is not even a guarantee you get wet.”

Toni never missed a chance to hang with his siblings, especially his older sister, who really was his best friend. He was the free spirit who never seemed to have a plan for practically anything other than the present, while, at least to him, she always gave off the vibe that she knew what she was doing. Her presence always brought a smile to his face, and even in the darkest of times, she never failed to put him in a good mood. “You’re really not gonna tell me what were doing, are you?” Toni repeated the statement several times as if he was a child in the back seat of a car trip that was constantly asking their parents if they’ve arrived at their final destination. Truth be told he assumed there would be some big food surprise. Toni was quickly proven wrong when he spotted the dunk tank with an empty seat. “ You’re really going to make me do this knowing this is my outfit that I use to get compliments from boys. How can I find my future boyfriend if I’m dripping wet.” Toni sighed, not even putting up a fight as he rose to the seat in the dunk tank and throwing his flip-flops to the side. “Actually, I take it back. There’s still a chance you’ll miss. And I’m betting you will.” He said teasingly before the worker closed the tank on him. “That prank was god-tier, might I remind you. That’s the job of the younger brother to bother his older siblings as much as they can. Now..are you ready to go home embarrassed because you’ll miss?”
