Coming from a family of midwives, all of Opal's family is based off certain spiders loosely, some of their family members have crystal and mineral names. :D

remember who you fight for, remember who you protect, and don't forget it when you have a gun to your skull. as sarin stories fades into the darknes, a much angrier soul flickers and illuminates a very twisted pathway. this is opal. Opal, a midwife who has had everything planned out for them down to every single detail, knows that they must break from their routine. the drow have become far too complacent.

but even with their ignorance, opal will protect them, for we are all connected.

I always thought that they would both take each other down, but even when faced with the other's departure, it goes to show that both Sarín and Ainsley desire more than the world is willing to give them.

Sarín tempts Ainsley to leave the ministry with her, but Ainsley will rewrite everything for them to be together– only for her clear mind to decide that she cannot be selfish, letting go of Ainsley.

I hope they can heal.

it's amusing to me that this was originally created for artfight, I wanted to make a slightly dramatic piece for them, but after the events of our last couple of spire sessions, this drawing feels...different!

who up ganji'ing they norton......the silent splendor story kind of made me upset considering that it seems like ganji can never really escape a storyline where its based off racism and he doesnt get to exactly be happy. i think he deserves good things and nothing bad ever happens to him noooo neverrrrr absolutely not (hypnosis noise)
