EB Games/Gamestop/ThinkGeek (they’re all the same company) classified themselves as essential businesses, even in areas with mandatory quarantine/closures/curfews from day 1. When a worker would test positive, they gave them 2 weeks off without pay. They didn’t shut down the store, didn’t deep clean– just had workers from nearby stores come in. They sent out constant emails to the public saying how they’ve increased cleaning + sent all stores cleaning supplies–which was complete and utter horseshit. The warehouses that handle supplies sent out multiple emails saying there’s not even toilet paper, so to quit asking. Some stores got a few cleaning buckets, but zero cleaning products.

Corporate sent out emails with print outs telling (minimum wage!!) Workers to hand out flyers to any cops that try to come by to enforce curfew/ quarantine laws.

Tldr, 10000% if you’ve ever been a customer, fuck you/individuals that willfully disregard worker’s humanity should rot in hell– but let’s also not forget to curse the corporations who willfully disregard human lives outright.
