The AMF has internal documents that prove that Nathalie Drouin the sitting Deputy Minister of Justice acknowledged that Tony Papa was part of organized crime - when she was the head of the AMF investigations in 2009. She chose to look the other way and millions were lost by investors as Papa continued with a wave of disastrous stock promotions. Sopmone needs to be held accountable. Someone needs to check the internal records at the AMF because that proof exists.
Poor old Tony Papa is so much like a Trump it is scary. Lying is a reflex for him and his BS stories even made it to prime time on CBC http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/tony-papa-1.3862798. He dnied being an informant even though the AMF has proof and deflected and blamed others for his bad bahavior. This poor guy is sick LOL. There is documentation at the AMF going all the way back to 2008 that links Tony's activities to organized crime.
Tip of the hat to Tony Papa. It was made public on CBC that he is cooperating witht he AMF http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/tony-papa-1.3862798 and yet nothing has happened to him. I suppose his ex partners involved with the mafia and Hells Angels have not see the extent of his finger pointing.
UPAC needs to investigate the deals that David Gallant did with Tony Papa to make sure that Tony Papa avoided prosecution. They also need to find out how he worked with Nathaly Marcoux and Fabrice Benoit to make sure that Eric Van Nguyen never got charged. This is a scandal and many people are involved but David Gallant was at the center.
How does David Gallant from the AMF sleep at night knowing he did a snitch deal with Tony Papa to turn on others and didn't end up using anything in court? Did the AMF wake up and realize who Tony Papa was or did they just not trust someone who lie so blatanly on CBC? The cooperation deal is documneted as at the AMF. When will a reporter uncover this scandal?
Why did the SQ drop all investigations of Tony Papa and Eric Nguyen. Why did Fabrice Benoit wave off Sgt Patenaude and how is this legal? Why is the RCMP not investigatig this? Oops ! They also dropped an investigation into Tony Papa ! What is going here and why is the truth being hid from the public? The AMF has mountains of evidence that prove Tony Papa is linked to the mafia and guilty of fraud. Why is it buried at the AMF?
Montreal is over run with mafia members and civil servants who look the other way. The AMF has see fit to look the other way despite the fact they know that Tony Papa is involved in mafia activities. Who got paid fot them to look the other way? Who did favors for Tony Papa?
Tony Papa and his partner Eric Van Nguyen managed to cluster fuck the entire system and protect themselves from prosecution. Congrats on a "job" well done guys. You corrupted the system for your benefit and turned servanst of the state into servants of your own agenda. The question is - how much did it cost?
Here is a flashback worthy of some pause. Gerald Parkin and Tony Papa worked together on the pump and dump of AURC and made millions. Parkin was found not guilty of promotion on another stock and Tony Papa never faced prosecution on anything - even AURC. This is depsite the fact that internal AMF documents prove that the AMF knows about Tony Papa and his pump and dump activities. Nathalie G. Drouin signed off on the closing of the AURC investigation despite the fact that the investigation identified organized crime as the main benefactor of the AURC pump and dump. Shocking but normal. In Quebec you can buy peace from authorities !

Trudeau selected Nathalie G. Drouin for a top lawmaker position in Ottawa without knowing her history properly. What is interesting is that she was in charge of the AMF when they let Eric Van Nguyen go and was in a position of power in Quebec City when the AMF did a deal with Tony Papa.
