The hotel grand ayudhaya in bangkok

The Grand Ayudhaya Hotel Bangkok was once a deluxe 5 star accommodation offering the best that the Big Mango had to offer. However, in it’s last years the once superb service and quality of the establishment took a plunge, with guest numbers dropping. Reviews of the hotel’s quality of service and accommodation in it’s final years of operation were less than glowing, with bookings being in obvious decline. The final nail in the coffin were the 2010 red shirt protests, which caused numerous cancellations, forcing the hotel to close and eventually be repossessed from the owner by a bank. Closed now for around 7 years, everything is still in place as if the guests left yesterday.
