queen of the damned has a lot of the same storytelling mechanisms i really like about good omens—the converging narratives all drawing together, the Lore that some characters know and others remain blissfully unaware of or are caught up in, the Incoming Doom that seems inescapable but will be thwarted by our protagonists… and of course the Ancient Gay People
