I thought I'd post this pic of the evolution of a pedalboard. My dad and I built this board a little over 3 years ago. The picture on the left is a picture of the board when it was first wired up. The picture on the right is the board today. All told it's mostly the same save for 3 swaps and 2 additions. The swaps: Tuner: TC Electronic PolyTune for PolyTune Mini Noir Noise Gate: MXR Smart Gate for ISP Decimator II Tremolo: Mooer Trelicopter for JHS Honeycomb Deluxe The additions: Hotone Komp and Chase Tone Secret Preamp I've been really happy with this pedalboard from day one, but never more than I am now.

I dropped (what is for me…) a small fortune this week at @folkwaymusic, first purchasing the October ‘63-made #Fender #blackface #DeluxeReverb (sitting on the ‘65 #Vibrolux in this shot), and secondly paying for an expertly executed refret job on the very challenging neck on my 1968 #Telecaster.

But it was totally worth every penny (although there a no pennies in Canadian money anymore. Seriously! Look it up if you don’t believe me!!). I cannot believe the difference that good #frets make…I have never had a guitar re-fretted before! Now my mind is racing - what else can I get re-fretted? Maybe my '65 #DuoSonic…? :D
