Why would he do this in public in general piss’s me off still, mayby after her battle he can confront her, thinking that she is part of team rocket, till she mentions that she was from pallet till she was taken by a big bird, then Oak could have said something like ‘shit, it’s you, everyone tried to find you, your parents-they tired to move on, but being in the same place…. I begged them to stay, but they said that they couldn’t, where they are now, I don’t know.., I’m sorry (name) for assuming that you where working for him (meaning Giovanni) and had to steal Squirtle and the Pokédex, you can stay with me and my grandson till we can find your parents’ and then they leave before Red and his rivals fight

ao3 is not changing anything by the way! some people just want them to change for some reason. my guess is that these people just don't understand how the site works and refuse to actually learn how it works, so they blame the site because it's easier for them that way.

Pryce did not escape the crack of time, and he is still very much dead.

Giovanni did not tell Silver to go train with his childhood abuser/the person who is the sole reason they can't be a happy family.

The authors did not give Silver an ambiguous ending that implies he's still homeless and suffering after everything he's been through.

I think there's actually an additional level of betrayal here.

When I was a teenager and learning about critiquing, one of the things I was explicitly taught was that you don't share other people's manuscripts without permission, full stop. If you're critiquing someone's story, you don't show that draft to your partner, or your friend, or anyone, no matter how good or how bad or how funny or how weird or how whatever you think it is. You have been extended a degree of trust, but that does not come with the right to extend that trust to someone else on the author's behalf.

So even before you get to don't feed other people's work into AI, there's the very basic and technology-agnostic social contract of if you are critiquing someone else's draft, the permission to read it only extends to you and the feedback you provide should only be coming from you. Feeding it into AI is adding insult to injury, but even if you took the AI out of it and substituted another human reader it would still be Super Not Okay.
