This is Rush Hour with Alice & Pooping with Harrison spending our self quarantine days "working from home", cooking, cleaning, working out, and of course - shenanigans Origin of our names: Rush Hour with Alice comes from the multitude of hours spent in Boston rush hour traffic while I called Harrison who was usually pooping (some may say I have "poop-ey senses" ☜(⌒▽⌒)☜ )

Day 28

Missing warm weather as flurries fly around and the basement gets colder 😢

Harrison pulled an all nighter for work last night - what a shit wfh day he had 😢

Alice slept 13 hours last night - what a shit awake day she had 😂

Later Post - Day 15

The neighborhood cat walked with us ~

I noticed a fluffy one-eyed cat sitting next to a bench at the boardwalk. As I crouched down to take the photogenic kitty, they came towards me wanting scritches >.< Without any scritches, kitty tried brushing along Harrison’s legs instead >.< so cuteee~ 

We noticed there was a collar around them, so they must be a neighbor’s cat that just strolls around the boardwalk, unafraid of the water. 

As we walked away, the kitty kato walked along with us until the next bench. We continued our walk and turned around to walk back and did not see the cat anymore :( I guess at that point there were too many hoomans around that they went scurrying back home, correctly social distancing.

2 hours into coming back to our parents’ place, mom is already trying to teach us a lesson....

Day 11

We got the n64 to work with one game - Pokemon Stadium 2! 

As we happily binge ate our quarantine snacks.

Oh boy the memories - do y’all remember this screen of endless entertainment?  I fucking love mini games

UPDATE: 

We ended up getting it to work for Pokemon Stadium 1, Golden Eye, & Megaman!  (no Mortal Combat unfortunately :( )  Rush Hour with Alice’s rating on Golden Eye’s scariness? 6/10 - got a scream out of me when I turned around and saw Harrison behind me (even with forewarning from him) 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Day...🤔, the days have blurred

Thanks to allergies, my days have blurred 

Also, wondering if my neighbors are officially terrified of us having Corona, since i’m always sneezing, blowing my nose, or clearing my throat of mucus.

On daily life news - 

Goals: to be productive and maintain a schedule of work/hobbies/exercise/entertainment/cooking/cleaning

Reality: binge watching archer, taking naps, cooking & ordering out, and any excuse for going on long walks or to get out of the house (with my allergies in tow)

Day 5

As the days blur and motivation dwindles - let us be the kid who has constant motivation for their next cupcake 🧁

Monday 3/23/20 was a down pouring, slushie-ish rainy day - and do you know what that means? THE BEST TIME TO SOCIAL DISTANCE IN PUBLIC!  (Except for Trader Joe’s, who has the best cult following since people were willing to stand in line in the shitty weather to get their groceries)

We chose Costco - since family of any amount of children will not want to drag their family outside in any weather except nice weather. Costco was as if there was nothing wrong, a typical low key weekday, with everyone giving each other plenty of space.

What did we get a Costco? Well - a normal amount of produce, milk, and eggs - and also fine whiskey and wine, since our video chat friends had thought we were crazy to be going through Coronapocalypse as a dry household. So now we have alcohol for show #PeerPressure 😆😎

We are very fortunate to live next to soundless neighbor(s), however here are some sounds and phrases that they might be hearing from us!

Meow Meow (we don’t even own a cat....)

I hope everyone is safe and healthy! It’s been a bit disappointing seeing how many people are still going out and partying! Thankfully most people I’ve seen online are trying there best to be as responsible as possible in these unfortunate circumstances! Sending you all lots of love and best wishes!

Day 2 

Besides the usual - work from home, eating, and of course pooping - today was another day of Coronapocalypse. 

Pros:  - html skillz advancing with each day on tumblr  - remember about my camera & brought it out on a spectacular treasure find of deer! (but how may?) - finally stopped at the nearby taco truck and it was a great find! 

Cons: - social distancing fail? went to 2 grocery stores since Whole Foods (we had to pick up our last amazon package) was basically sold out of produce, so good ole Stop & Shop it was!  - potentially lost our mailbox key

Hopefully everyone else is successfully being hermits and staying in, staying safe, and staying healthy!
