“Happy Mother’s Day.”
Husk held Fat Nuggets up to his partner, revealing a beautiful golden heart locket with pink rhinestones around the pigs neck. When Angel opened it, he found his favorite photo of Husk cuddling Nuggs.

Angel practically squealed as the locket opened to reveal the adorable picture of his beloved pet (and Fat Nuggets).
"Husky!" he exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear as he pulled the bartender into a fierce, four-armed embrace, the hellpig protesting as he was sandwiched between the two demons. "You didn't hafta! Seriously, this must a' cost a pretty penny..."
He released his two favourite creatures to take a closer look at the locket, tracing his fingers over the photograph with wide-eyed admiration. Husk had done this for him?
Angel turned his gaze back to the feline, brimming with gratitude.
"Thank you." His words were gentle, inflected with genuine sincerity. "I love it, Husk. Really."
Angel’s physical strength never ceased to surprise Husk. It really shouldn’t, considering how much pole work the spider did on the daily. He managed to return the embrace before Angel sat back to admire his gift. The bartender knew he didn’t have to do anything for Angel, but that only made him want to give his partner the world even more.
He’d had the idea of getting Angel something to commemorate how dear the hellhog was to him, but with Alastor always withholding money, it was hard to save up. Husk had been venting about that very issue to Lucifer one night over drinks when the king posed a proposition: if Husk maintained the rooftop garden over the next week, Lucifer would pay him for the work. It was extremely generous considering Husk already helped the angel when he could, but at least this option made him feel like he’d earned the ability to make this purchase.
“You deserve beautiful things,” Husk tilted his head with one of his heart-melting sappy smiles. God, if he was still an Overlord, he’d be showering Angel with gifts on the daily. But…maybe it was better this way? Picking smaller, more tailored gestures to convey the depth of his adoration. It seemed to mean just as much to Angel as a grandiose display, so Husk counted this as a victory.
“Would you like some help puttin’ it on?” He offered.
Husk’s Full Demon Form (TW horror + Blood)
Drawing I did from a little while ago on my tt that I thought I’d share here! This is super not in line with canon but I love making freaky art.
Anyways,
-Cannot use his full demon form unless Alastor permits it
-Majority of the time he's forced to use it unwillingly, with Alastor only making him rarely use it during situations where he needs defending or to distract someone
-Already insecure and unhappy about his normal demon form, therefore he hates using this form because of how much of a monster it makes him
-He becomes very strong, but loses the ability to think properly.
-Cannot make rational judgements, and often becomes incredibly violent, mindlessly attacking anything in his way.
-Must follow any order Alastor gives him.
-Painful and incredibly exhausting to maintain the form. Cards grow from his back through his skin, and can be used as weapons
+Bonus Huskerdust because I cannot get enough of them. Lowkey tempted to write a fic of this. And also horrifying ass shit because why not it’s 2am. The second one is just a quick doodle. Sweet dreams!

I hope you believe that you can still make a beautiful life for yourself even if you lost many years of it to grief, or darkness, depression, or a wound that wouldn't close.
When Husk had reassured Ben that he would be fine in the aftermath of his “conversation” with Marcus, he hadn’t meant that he would make it through unscathed. The Overlord was well aware he headlined the alter’s hit list, but he was willing to take the risk anyway. Once a gambler, always a gambler.
Marcus was an important part of his assistants life, and since Ben was dear to Husk, Marcus was valued by extension. Of course, Husk wanted Marcus to matter on a more personal level if he was going to demonstrate that he saw the alter as an individual. That’s why he had allowed himself to be reduced to a punching bag, or more accurately, a ballistic dummy. They both knew the Gambling Demon could end this at any point, but their spar served a very specific purpose: proving Husk could be humbled and giving Marcus the opportunity to do so.
A guttural growl roared out from behind clenched teeth as Husk was pinned to the mat by the dagger in his shoulder. Angelic steel had a bite to it that normal weapons just couldn’t match. This was especially apparent when the blade was yanked out with an unceremonious twist, drawing another pained grunt from Husk before the weapon was poised against his neck. A swallow caused his Adam’s apple to bob against the razor edge, slicing a few hairs in the process.
“Now what kinda master of risks would I be if I didn’t flirt with death every now and then?” Husk posed, feeling the blood beginning to pool under his torso. His wounds weren’t severe enough that he may bleed out, but Marcus had clearly wanted him to know pain.
“What worth does my life have to you?” The question was posed with genuine curiosity. Husk had a feeling if Ben weren’t in the picture, he wouldn’t still be breathing. That didn’t stop the Overlord from wondering if there might be something more to this “mercy.”
"When I said 'people like you', I meant gamblers, by the way." The fox pointed out as he wiped the flat of the blade across Husk's clean cheek to cover it in his own blood though there were no further cuts to his flesh. That didn't mean that Marcus appeared to be in any hurry to get up as red eyes took in the glint of the now-clean blade as he flexed it in the light; a weapon that could maim, even kill, Overlords was not one he was going to return.
With a swift motion, the blade was retracted and slipped into the inside pocket of his waistcoat to keep it safe.
"What happens if I were to kill you? I leave this room and everyone who actually likes you - fuck knows why - would suddenly be in a mood to kill me. I'm pretty sure I could take most of them in small groups but I don't know enough about your staff to take any kind of calculated risk." The hacker explained as he rested the heels of his hands against Husk's shoulders to keep him down (fully aware that Husk had the strength to fling him off if he so desired) and purposefully pressed into the deep wound beneath the left.
"Your life, therefore, is worth mine for the time being and I care very much about that." Only because it protected Ben; the only person in this shithole who merited any kindness since, Marcus was certain by now, Ben did not belong here.
After a moment, he sat back, looking at the way the blood tinted the strange fur that covered his hands; why did this always happen to him? Becoming a fucking plaything for powerful assholes who couldn't even follow a single one of his thoughts. The last time he had been over a body like this he had been trying to stop the bleeding with desperate, panicked hands that would have given anything to stop the pain instead of inflicting it.
Husk watched Marcus tuck the blade away, noting the lethal addition to the fox’s arsenal. It wasn’t as though Husk needed to be concerned about sleeping with one eye open - that much was clear from Marcus’ insistence on survival - but it did put him on edge to think that anyone in his staff could be in danger if they so much as looked at the alter the wrong way. He would permit Marcus to keep it for now - a gesture of good faith he hoped he wouldn’t come to regret.
Another hiss of pain was sucked through Husk’s clenched teeth as weight was applied to his already tender wound. He understood Marcus was furious, and with valid cause, but fucking hell…He released a shaky breath and a soft grunt when Marcus finally drew back. Trained eyes flicked quickly from Marcus’ disturbed expression to the blood on his hands. The feline may not understand the cause of the sudden dissociative crisis, but he didn’t need to in order to aid the alter. Slowly, Husk’s wings folded up and over, covering both his body and the fox’s paws. Out of sight, out of mind, or so he hoped.
“Marcus,” Husk spoke calmly, giving the other sinner an anchor. “There’s a shower in the next room. I can take you there. We owe it to Ben to get you cleaned up before he returns.”
Though Husk’s words were measured instruction, his tone and expression betrayed a fear he allowed few to see. He cared deeply for his assistant, and knew, to some extent, he and Marcus shared this quality. Ben was so sensitive…the thought of his arctic fox waking to find himself covered in Husk’s blood with no memory of these events preemptively broke the gambler’s heart. Husk’s ears swiveled back as he looked to Marcus with an uncharacteristic desperation.
“Please.”
