This is the most stressful comic I’ve ever read. Surfer loses his powers on planet capitalism and has to figure how to survive in a system that’s designed to make you poor and homeless. He has to live in a shanty town and can’t get a job. At one point someone offers to buy a couple of his memories of previous adventures but he doesn’t read the fine print in the contract and ends up owing money. Then Drax (the old dumb one) comes to the planet to get him to fight Thanos but doesn’t realize that Surfer doesn’t have his powers and just flies off thinking the Surfer will follow. It is an absolute shit show of a nightmare.
