Stretch pops into existence at your side, relieving you of your contribution with a bright spark to his eye. “it’s goin’ just perfect now that you’re here, sugar,” he said, his arm looping around your waist, and a drink already in hand to offer to you. “things’re always kickin’ here, but when a rosy sight like you appears, that’s enough to stop even the most inebriated of skeletons in their tracks.” He nods to a group across the room, and sure enough, several of the guys are peering over to you, magic on their faces.

"Don't worry about it! Honey is very well behaved!" Amperzand stands tall at Papyrus calling her a princess, and she stands almost as tall as his shoulder. "I would have brought Allison, but he doesn't like parties. Have you seen him around? The cute fish boy in a wheelchair? Maybe not, he's always fiddling with those guitars of his..." She seems troubled now, but waves it off. "Any food?"

“YES, WE HAVE A DELIGHTFUL SPREAD RIGHT THERE!” papyrus points to the massive table overflowing with food. “I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE BROWNIES! THEY ARE NOT WHOLESOME! THEREFORE THE SPAGHETTI TACOS BLUE AND I CREATED ARE VERY GREAT! YOU COULD SAY MAGNIFICENT!”

"Wow, they look delicious!" Persian decide to go for a caramel popcorn ball and start eating it. Between two bites, she give a sweet smile to Crooks "You know what? We should totally cook together one of these days... I mean... It would be nice, only if you want to. I'll understand if you don't want to, though; there's not that many people who want to hang out with me..."

“COOKING TOGETHER WOULD BE THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SEASON, AT THE VERY LEAST!” The way Crooks says it is so matter-of-fact that you can’t even begin to doubt him. “AND BESIDES-!”

He clasps your hands, arching down close to you to be more reasonably close to your eyelevel. “YOU HAVE A VERY VERY SWEET SOUL!! ANYONE WHO DOESN’T WANT TO HANG OUT WITH YOU IS VERY SILLY AND WRONG INDEED. I COULDN’T ASK FOR BETTER COOKING COMPANY!!”

He scoops you in close for another hug, easily catching the food before it could fall and cradling it while refusing to relinquish you, instead situating you happily in his hold as comfortably as possible, and handing you your treat back along with further choices.

"I thought you like it Edge," I pout. "Haven't you ever wondered what it'd be like to kiss a female version of yourself?" -💀

“NO!  I HAVEN’T!  THAT WOULD BE LIKE KISSING A MIRROR, AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF MIRROR VERSIONS OF MYSELF AROUND HERE!  AND I’VE NEVER WONDERED WHAT THAT WOULD BE LIKE!  NOPE!  DEFINITELY HAVE NOT!  IT’S JUST WEIRD!”

He’s blushing.  He secretly wants to kiss you, but he’ll be damned if he admits that out loud.  Instead, he’s looking anywhere but at you, and grumbling to himself.

When their eyes meet his they blush a bit, they can't help as giggles bubble up. "Oh my stars, am I glad to see you," when he mentions the show they look surprised but excited. "Y-Yeah! I thought it fit pretty well, and I made it myself. The skirt is so short though..." They blush a bit, "Is that so? Well you know you're welcome to more than just a taste." They wink at him with a playful grin, feeling better already now that they were around him.

Axe eyes the length of the skirt, but he shrugs, his grin widening. “nothin’s too short when you’re wearin’ it,” he said, his eyelight lifting to meet yours, a dark burn to it. He rounds the table, stepping close as his hand lifts to play with the ruffles near your collar.

“careful what kinda promises ya make there, sweetness...” his other hand lifts, hesitating for just a moment before scooping behind your back, his skull just a breath away from your face as he drew you close. “rumor has it the livin’ dead are inclined to rise to the occasion at this time of the year.” His gaze lids, some of the tension in him easing from the general ruckus of the party as he focuses on you. His eyelight lingers on the flush to your face, and his sharp grin softens almost imperceptibly.

Hello red! Ummm...c-can I hug you red and maybe...i-if possible could I please give you a kiss on the cheek? *Blushes*

Red smirks.  “hey, sweetheart.... nah, i think i’m gonna have to refuse yer request.”

With a light chuckle, he moves toward you and encircles his arm around your waist.  Ducking his head, he presses his sharp teeth to your cheek in a skeleton kiss.  “i’d much rather kiss yours, doll.”

Crooks’s grin is bright.  “YOUR COSTUME IS AS LOVELY AS YOU, HUMAN!  AND YOUR WEAPONRY IS IMPRESSIVE!  THAT’S WHAT MY OWN COSTUME LACKS!”

/I take a sip of the drink, face nearly as red as my costume./ "mmm, fantastic." /It really is quite nice./ "But...a necromancer huh? That must make you a Haunter, cause I swear I've seen you in my dreams." /I smile cheekily at him over the glass./

Grillby’s smile lifts as he chuckles at your line, his gaze lingering over the warm flush to your cheeks. He straightens from leaning towards you, his arm crossing over his chest to hold his elbow as his finger lifts to his chin.

“Well my dear, I suppose that might be a sweet accusation I cannot wholly deny,” he replies, his gaze off to the side for a moment before it flickers back to you. “After all, even for someone who spends most his days on his feet, I find my legs feeling a measure more tired tonight...”

His gaze lids slightly as he winks at you. “Surely, that must be because I followed you through the dreamscape, hoping for just a moment longer in your bewitching presence.”

*They flinch at the sudden volume but recover with a grin* "I wonder if any of these made it to the underground... I'm sure they would have been as frightening down there as they were up here, but with more demon speech." *The now-obvious female pulls the item out from under her arm and sets it on; the lenses of the massive sunglasses resting atop the beak and decorated with large cartoonish, yet soulless eyes.* "I'm a Furby~" *She smiles gently at the compliment.* "Thank you, your majesty~" ~<3

Black stares at you and your costume, then admits, “THAT IS OFFICIALLY THE SCARIEST COSTUME HERE, CONGRATULATIONS FROM YOUR LORD AND KING!“

((I couldn’t wait till after work to send my art so here’s a Google image of Freaky’s costume. I’m on mobile so sorry if the image is bad. But I do hope Axe and Blackberry like it a lot. The character is Kneesocks from the anime Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.))

Needless to say, Blackberry and Axe will fight for the opportunity to kiss Freaky in this.

*walks in with a zelda dress and blows a kiss at the tv screen* hey peaches

Q throws his head back and laughs, reaching out and pretending to catch the kiss midair even as his costume unexpectedly shifts into Link from the selfsame game. “i’ll just put this in my inventory for later, shall I?“ he says with a wink as he tucks the kiss away out of sight.

*blushes intensely* I'd let you be top dog any day. *hides face in embarrassment*

Rus shrugs and qwraps an arm around you. “top dog, under dog, i don’t mind whichever. but my bite’s better than my bark~” He snaps his teeth to emphasis.

"Nope, you're both wrong. But I do have other costumes but those stay in the bedroom. But I'll give you each a kiss for trying." *The zombie winks at them.*

“ok.”  Axe steps forward, ready to claim his prize, but Blackberry is quick to jump in front of him. 

“WAIT, IF A KISS IS A CONSOLATION PRIZE.... WHAT WOULD I HAVE GOTTEN IF I HAD GUESSED CORRECTLY?!”

*A 'POOF'of smoke fills the doorway, fading away to reveal a young woman dressed as Disney's The Headless Horseman, complete with a pumpkin under one arm. In the other, a bottle of crown royale* "Salutations!" She grins, going into an extravagant bow. "Sorry I'm a little late, 'lost my head' for a bit." She grins, holding up the pumpkin.

Papyrus is the first one to greet her.  “HELLO THERE, HEADLESS HUMAN!  I’M CERTAINLY GLAD YOU FOUND YOUR.... PUMPKIN HEAD??  ALLOW ME TO TAKE YOUR BOTTLE FOR YOU!”  

Meanwhile.... Sans is standing there, staring with hollow sockets.  His permagrin is tight.  

(”I STILL BELIEVE IN YOU!”)

His hands clench into his jacket’s pockets.

“hey buddy, pal.... can you not?”

Q laughs and replies, “yeah, you could really light up a room with a sweater like that, kid.“

I'm having a bit of a rough night so I just wanted to stop by for a moment and see if I could get a hug from Red? Or maybe Gaster? Regardless, thank you all for the wonderful party and all your hard work, you're all amazing!

You hear a soft chuckle behind you, and when you turn, you see Gaster standing there, still dressed in his labcoat and soft turtleneck - his fingertips are pressed to his chin as he looks at you thoughtfully and with a hint of fondness to the mischievous spark in his eyelights.

“I’m afraid I’ve been rather tied up in work this evening, but I wanted to stop in... and I find myself quite at a loss at the sight of you,” he says, his voice curiously soft yet crystal clear to your ears. There’s a curiously husky dip to his fluid tone, as if warm radio static lingered in the air around him. He lowers his hand, gently scooping yours up in his, and he brushes a kiss to your knuckles. “Your lovely presence has my mind void of further thought,” he says, his gaze meeting yours with a teasing but true smile.

He then waves a hand, and two disembodied hands appear and whisk away to snag two drinks from across the room. He looks to you once more, studying your expression.

“... If I may?” He says as the drinks return, and the next moment you find yourself drawn into an embrace, the soft material of his sweater unlike any comparable feeling you’ve known - and his considerable height making for an incredibly secure feeling. He speaks after a moment, saying, “Perhaps allow yourself a brief respite, my dear.” When he pulls away, he offers you a drink and his arm both. “If not for yourself, then consider it a favor to me. Stars know I could use the charming company to keep me a little longer from my quest to overwork myself,” he chuckles, amusement in his tone.

*walks into the party carrying a treat carrier that's so big you can't see her face* "Hey! I brought homemade candy! Probably went a little over board, but oh well... There's chocolate peanut brittle, and pumpkin suckers, and cinnamon bats, and chocodiles!" When she sets the carrier down on the snack table, a black and white Cheshire Cat costume is revealed. The grin on the mask is a bitcreepy... "And cider, spiked and unspiked! Call me Vulpa!" She says, introducing herself to the closest skele.

The closest skeleton happens to be Q on one of his larger monitors where he’s still doing dj duty for the party. He flashes her a grin and waves. “it’s a pleasure peaches.“ The AI’s gaze flicks over the veritable mountain of stuff you brought with you and chuckles as he continues, “looks like you brought enough food to feed an army. then again, we’re a veritable arm of the dead around here these days...“ He laughs again as he waves at the mob of skeletons mingling with the crush of humanity filling the lodge. “so i guess you were just planning ahead, huh?“
