[[ I have finished Veilguard. I was staying away from here while I played it to avoid spoilers / absorbing people's thoughts while I did so. I... enjoyed it. It could have been better. But I still enjoyed it. ]]
Dragon Age Meme Idea
Send in a scenario or gift and the character will respond with their level of dis/approval or rivalry/friendship.
[[ somehow, i thought it'd lost the login to this blog. i did not. ANYWAY. VEILGUARD HYPE whheeeeeeeeeeeee ]]
It's my 2 year anniversary on Tumblr đ„ł
What a fun 2 years it's been. Who's excited for more deadwolf catfishing?
deeply debating making a blog for my bg3/dnd boy
[[ I keep getting you know what bots liking my promo post lmao and Li's automatic reaction to these gifs/videos is "yeah those are nice but have you seen my husband/wife?" they're poly lmao but in a vanilla verse they default to this one person ]]
accessibility in the rpc & online in general
me but i am taking people's faces gently between my hands: my screen reader cannot read your fancy symbol writing. when you go to an online generator to create cursive symbols, those are not alpha characters in english. they are glyphs of a language that is only recognizable visually as synonymous to english characters. if someone cannot for whatever reason see them, re: using a common screen reader, they are not spoken and the words are skipped entirely.
if you are going to use them, please repeat the entire sentence that uses it under a read-more at the bottom of your post.
example below the cut:
some of these words are recognizable to a screen reader đȘđ·đ đžđœđ±đźđ»đŒ đȘđ»đź đ·đžđœ
This applies to resources like ask memes as well. Be mindful of the accessibility of your memes, prompts, etc. Not everyone can read the generator-made symbols you're using to make your stuff look pretty, including but not limited to roleplayers using screen readers or roleplayers with dyslexia, and that's a problem.
it's 2023. Please do better.
Though their ears are shorter than most elvesâ, they pick up the soft voice on the wind. Almost a plea, spoken on a breath not meant to be heard, and though they thought the beating heart within them turned necrotic and withered away long ago, something in it clenches, a pain they knew all too well. And for a single breathe, the naiive young elf who first came to Skyhold almost answered. There would be hope in their voice, a tease of things to comeâ but that thought is shattered on the exhale, and bitterness once more runs through their veins.
âSafe?â They spit the word with more venom than intended, but no remorse is felt for the outburst. âThis world isnât safe. Not now. Not til heâs gone.â Every moment, every sunset without word of the apostateâs whereabouts, was another where they were losing their ability to feel safe, even for a little while.
âA short while may be all we have. Safety isnât in it.â
[[ puts in a rp ad on one of those rp ad hub thingies right? it specifically states something the character I write is into (not Li tho I may make them a non DA-verse ad too lmao) literally at least two applicants: so i'm uncomfy with that thing you specifically stated can we not do that? this isn't subway you're not customising your own sandwich here. this is a fixed menu til the chef finds a new special. no alterations. :T ]]
In love, they said absence made the heart grow fonder. But in hatred? It only furthered the fervor. Out of Sight, Out of Mind was not an option, when the remembrance of wrongdoings was upon onesâ own body.
Injured or not, Li couldnât stay behind stone walls for all eternity. Perhaps a more clever person would have retired from their adventures â but a more clever person wouldnât have gotten into the whole mess to begin with â but Dalish blood kept them upon their feet.Â
The vast wilds of the Hinterlands sounded as best the place to search as the next, and so the party found themselves traversing countryside that was alive with the songs of wolves calling from hill to hill â but it was the wrong wolf, of course.
ââ!â A strangled noise escaped their throat as they narrowly avoided eating the pathway, a stray boulder interrupting their search. They tried hard to hide the fact that they were shaken, pulling the fur-lined cloak closer about themselves as if the simple pelt could wash away the ache the mark still left. It could hide the physicality of it, but never quite wash it away.
âItâll be sundown soon. Shall we rest?â They phrased it as if it was at the benefit of their companions⊠and not something aching bones and blood longed for.Â
Send â Swordplay â for my muse to pin yours to the ground while fighting/sparring. Send â Swordplay + reverse â for your muse to pin mine.
The wind always blew cold, up in Skyholdâs ramparts. It tinged the tips of pointed ears with the first frosty kisses of winter, and yet, Li couldnât feel it. The cold had settled in their heart a long time agoâ or at least, it felt as though many years had passed.
The fur-lined cloak they now wore â almost with religious adherence â barely hid the shadow of the missing limb, but it kept what warmth there was still within. The cloak ruffled in the breeze, the fur soft and striking â kills from the hinterlands, but still it didnât soothe the need for revenge.
If they must kill a god, then so be it.
They were so wrapped up in their observations of the lands over the hold (though golden eyes no longer saw as far as they used to, and that hadnât been far before), Li almost didnât hear the footsteps approaching upon the battlement.
âHave you found him?â They asked, not bothering to face their companion, a sneer forming upon their face as they said him. The one responsible for this mess, and the one whom Li had sworn to findâ and to end.
The door to the Inquisitorâs room was never locked these daysâ not that it had been in the bustling heyday of the Inquisition. So few stopped through the hold now that the journey was supposedly over, that whenever fate brought Li back to the façade of a home, they never bothered to bolt the door. The room had seen better daysâ they all had. Trail-dirt was tracked in, for even the countless years amongst humans and their customs had not shed Li of their ways. If asked, they wouldnât admit it, but it was simply too much hassle to uncord and re-lace their boots every time a room changed its dĂ©cor. The windowed door to the balcony stood open, a frigid breeze ruffling curls that hadnât seen comb nor care for days, a mess that would have been dealt with with much more haste when the fade-green banner held any meaning. Despite the chill, the fur-lined cloak they usually draped upon themselves lays discarded upon the bed. Specks of blood from the last adventure, the last failed lead, congeal in the fiber. Itâll be a bitch to wash out, but thatâs a problem for another day, Li thinks, tenderly caressing a shoot of deathroot growing out of someoneâs discarded templar armor sat upon the balcony â their eyes fixated upon the sky. Though itâs been many moons since the breach was sealed, thereâs always that lingering anxiety that the sky could be wrent open once more, demons pouring into the world andâ âWhat if he succeeds,â They voice the question to what they think is an empty room, voicing their thoughts aloud. It helps, sometimes, to do thisâ though a part of their heart aches for a certain set of ears to hear the words, to be the voice of reason. But the the thought fades as quickly as summer in the hold does, tinged once more with frost.Â
âTears down the veil and everyoneâ â â everyone loses everything!?â. And it wouldnât be the worldâs faultâ in a roundabout way, it would be Liâs once more. Another failure, like getting their Clan killed, like losing a lover to the battlefield, likeâ there were too many failures to truly think about.Â

Even if Li had intended to keep their word, to cease their adventuring days, it didnât meant that adventure wouldnât find them. The rogue knew too well what could lurk in the shadows, how swift a blade could sever oneâs connection with mortality, and in a rare bought of level-headedness, they found themselves sparring with some restless refugees in the courtyard.Â
âAh! Clever,â Li hissed the compliment through gritted teeth as practice-blade struck their wounded arm, happening upon the injury just hard enough that it sent a jolt of pain through their body. âIf you know your enemyâs weakness, use it.â
ââŠYour footwork needs some help, youâre leaving tracks heavier than a dragon.â
sex thatâs both rough and gentle, pls and thankâŠÂ entwining fingers while the other hand holds their partnerâs head down. kisses on the forehead while their partner is crying, too overstimulated to think. soft praises whispered into their partnerâs ear while theyâre pounding into them so roughly its shaking the bed. Â
