Super specific ROTI headcanons :
Repeating themselves
Staci : Repeats herself when she tries to reaffirm what she's saying about her family. Can sometimes tell the same story twice in a row.
B : Never repeats himself, unless he's using an AAC device and he feels like repetition will mimic an emphatic tone.
Dawn : Has never once repeated herself. Will ever repeat herself. Even if asked to repeat something her statement will change at least a bit.
Sam : Often repeats the same words and sentences while he narrates his gaming sessions.
Brick : Uses repetitions such as "Sir, Yes, Sir !" consciously but will repeat himself a lot when nervous.
Anna-Maria : Often uses the same expletives when talking. Will repeat herself with an angry tone as a way to intimidate people/be assertive.
Dakota : Often repeats singular words when searching for her words or thinking out loud. Used to repeat the same sentence a lot to wear down people's patience.
Chester : Repeats himself a lot, like old people do.
Manitoba : Repeats expletives and jokes.
Svetlana : Repeats her words when she thinks her accent made her statement difficult to understand. Sometimes repeats words just to "get a feel" of the english pronunciation.
Vito : Repeats expletives and also uses it as a way to be assertive.
Mal : Doesn't repeat himself a lot but often engages in repetitive movements instead.
Mike : Repeats himself a lot when nervous, may repeat himself a lot when his memory is acting up. May also repeat words to "get a feel of them" (self soothing)
Jo : Repeats herself when angry. Or trying to be assertive.
Scott : Also repeats himself in an "old-man" way because he has a terminal case of rural redundancy. Also repeats himself when scared.
Zoey : Repeats herself when nervous but also does it when she's excited about something. May repeat words or sentences to herself to "keep herself company" when alone.
Lighting : Repeats syllabes/expletives [sha-something] regardless of emotional state. Does it less when sad.
Cameron : Often repeats himself when talking about something passionately or when feeling shy/akward. Also thinks out loud.
