Cause Iâm at seven and just now starting to lose it! Nah, it really depends on how big of a change you make and how much you can remember who you once were and focus on who you are now
is there anyway I could help with the yknow, going crazy? I think Dr. D has pictures of y'all when the Fab Four was just starting out, bet he put them in a memory book or something sentimental like the big ol' sap he is. also I asked because I realized I'm kinda going that direction too, it's getting really hard to remember what I was like when I finally got back onto the waves all the time ago, all I got was I was a pushover and a memory of Ghoul going bezerk on me for being nice to them or something.
I do kinda wanna see the pictures if we can find em⊠I know it hasnât been that long but things have changed so much.

I'm... I'm really trying not to change anymore honestly, I still wanna be kind and sweet. I joked about changing again if I got the carbons for hair dye but honestly I'm not sure how much more change I can go through. All of my transformations and revisions have been forced by BL/ind and I'm getting sick of it. I'm only standin' up for myself because i got nothing left to do but that, realized that life is too fucked up to be walked all over. and... if I'm being honest I'm kind of starting to loose all my memories from... before. What we were even like back then? How much have we changed? all of us...
Itâs fine if you donât wanna change, you can dye your hair every color of the rainbow and still be the same yknow. Or different, and itâll all be on your own terms. Just remember I love you the way you are, and most any way you could be.
And back before⊠there was good times and bad times just like anything. Mostly we were all friends, and there was a lot of trying to kill each other and trying to avoid being killed or captured or betrayed. Things were really rough there towards the end, and I try not to think about it. But for the most part youâre still you and Iâm still me, and a lot of everything else has gone to shit.

"Awe really, how did they even get up there?" Show gently reached up a hand to try to brush the sprinkles out of their hair, completely missing them. They raised an eyebrow "You tricking me, spacegirl? I don't feel any sprinkles." a smile still appeared on their face, amused by the situation.

âNo see, theyâre just right up here,â she said, quickly grabbing the container and leaning across the table to shake a few on top of their head. He laughed and slumped back in the booth seat, glancing at the cookie decorating supplies before grinning slightly. âYou got icing on your face too.â
Show gently knocked on the door to the diner and then started wringing their hands. Their hands feel different, of course they feel different now.
Show wasn't made of plastic and metal like before. The thing was that suddenly having skin, bones, and muscles wasn't exactly easy to get used to, in fact they were still trying to get themself to not gag at the food they have to eat. It was all new to them, the heat of the desert wasn't just affecting their sensors anymore, they really felt things now. They hated it.
What was that thing they always said, 'I can't change who I am so what's the use of wanting to be human'? what a joke that sounded like at the moment.
They quickly tried to steel their nerves and put effort in to not let their voice wobble in anxiety as they called out.
"Jet? It's me..."

Jet ran to the door, buzzing with excitement and not even caring about trying to appear cool. He missed them too much to look cool and collected.
She opened the door with a smile and looked over Show, who looked slightly nervous and slightly⊠different somehow. Huh. He couldnât quite place what was off but he was sure it would come to him.
âCome on in I- Iâm really glad to see you Show, I missed you a bunch,â she started as she ushered them in. âSo whatâs up, whatâs⊠whatâs going on? God, I havenât seen you in forever-â
Show stood in the door for a few seconds, nearly crying at the sight of their patner. Taking hesitant steps, they listened to Jet ramble, happy to hear his voice in person again after so long.
Their eyes glanced over the diner, it had been a while since they last saw inside of it so much it made feel even more upset. The sound of Jet still talking brought them back and before she could go on too long though they cut her off.
"I'm human, Jet..." To emphasize their point they laid their hand on her arm so she could feel. All of the nerves in their body felt like they were on fire, a nauseating wave of anxiousness rushed over them as they tried to stay on their feet. What was Jet's reaction going to be? What she hated them now, what if they were too different? What if they were too gross or strange in a human body or too awkward-
Right breathing they still needed to do that, deep breath in deep breath out, they continued like that waiting for a reaction from Jet.
He fell silent when they put their hand on his arm. She looked closer at their joints and skin, the pink on their cheeks, little hairs and wrinkles and cracks on their lips. Their hand felt a little warmer and softer, and their chest rose and fell with every breath. Show didnât seem too happy about their new condition.
She cupped their face in her hands and ran her thumb gently against their cheek. âWell you sure are. Howâs that- I mean⊠howâs that even possible? What happened? Youâre okay right⊠are you okay?â
His mind raced, mostly with how and when, then with damn thatâs gotta be an insane adjustment for them.
"I'm okay, I'm fine... I don't know how it's possible.. I woke up in a transport van like this, they dumped me in the middle'a zone one before I even got the chance to ask 'em questions..." They put their hands over Jet's reveling in the touch. It was different than before but still familiar, it grounded them a little. Their worries felt a ways away, realizing Jet didn't react horribly like they thought she would.
They leaned into one of Jet's hand, their own reaching out to touch his hair, wanting to know what it feels like now. They also realized in that moment that things won't get caught in their joints anymore, no risks of accidentally pull out a bit of their favorite record's hair. With that they thought about how maybe this is worth it, this change they never asked for. Sure they looked a little different and they were more fragile, but if it meant getting to really feel Jet holding them it was worth every second.
âWhat the fuck, baby,â he said, with a slight laugh of relief and disbelief and a shake of his head. She wrapped her arms around their waist and pressed her forehead against theirs, overall just really glad of the fact they they were okay.
âSo what⊠you gonna need âbeing human lessonsâ now? Thereâs a bunch of stuff thatâs probably a lot different. Gotta stay hydrated and cool, gotta eat, gotta do a bunch of hygiene stuff⊠itâs really not so bad once you get used to it, I promise. Youâre gonna be alright. I, for one, think itâs pretty cool actually.â
