Finally managed to get a new piece done. Well, technically a redraw of an older piece. Only now did I realise that I forgot to add a cherry print to her shirt, but considering that I'd have to sort through 80+ layers, we can pretend it looks better without, right?
So, I've been working on a comic series for a while now and have finally gotten around to actually designing the characters (well, redesigning technically). This grumpy fellow is Cameron: The assistant manager at a music store. His outfit and colour scheme are just a placeholder, but for now I wanted to focus on his hairstyle. Even though I'm leaning towards options 4 and 6, I'm also interested to know what others would prefer. His overall style is mostly casual with a slight punk-goth aesthetic, with a lunar motif. I've tried incorporating a crescent theme with some of his hairstyles, but it's hard to tell if it really works. Any feedback is appreciated.
More Wekiddy fanart because I'm a sucker for 90's aesthetic.
It's been forever and a half since I've drawn something, so I did some fanart of Mj 182.
I decided to try designing characters inspired by playing cards, with a steam-punk theme. Although some changes will probably be made, I've at least settled on a very general idea for their designs.
Also, here's a few bonus doodles:
A quick portrait of Sebastian from Stardew Valley.
Digital artist, occasionally dabbles in traditional art.
Decided to give Bluesky a try. I'll still be using Tumblr, but I've been eager to try this platform out.
Did a few quick doodles of my oc, Cameron. This is more of a simplified version of his design, primarily to focus on his general appearance.
Artblock strikes again.
Drew a Fly Agaric-inspired character. I'll admit, I got lazy and didn't bother shading the grass, but to be fair this was after drawing in every single spot on the mushrooms. And I don't like drawing grass.
A few silly animal doodles because I've been struggling with drawing for months now and wanted to do something simple to get myself motivated again.
Decided to do a quick chibi-style doodle of my cloud lady. I'm still trying to come up with a name for her, maybe Claudia?
Did a few small adjustments to my cloud lady drawing, as well as a partial redraw of the clouds. I mainly wanted to define the cloud shapes a bit more as well as add more colour to the skin.
And just for fun, here's a comparison:
A redraw/reimagining of the cloud lady drawing I did a while back. This time I decided to try a more complex colouring style. Do I regret spending several hours shading this? I say no, but my wrist says yes.
By the way, this was drawn on an A2 sized canvas, with way too many layers. What I'm trying to say is this drawing really tested the limits of my computer.

I found out about this wonderful little site that you can use to make your drawings dance.
I've been wanting to do another illustration with the cloud lady I designed a while back, but this time with a different look. For her rainy-day design, I really wanted to focus on the raindrop motif and add a bit more clarity to parts of the design. As for her rainbow design, I originally planned to just do a recolour of the original with a few minor changes, but decided to instead make her a new outfit. Though I did recolour the umbrella because I spent too long trying to design it and instead just settled on the lazier option, at least until I can come up with something better.
