As you can see, I sometimes go out of my way and roleplay as Gingerbrave, just for your information, I do NOT roleplay as the canon Gimgerbrave, But rather, a Gingerbrave from an AU of mine where him and The Ultimate Cookie fused, I will be posting art about it some time or after a while ^^
I drew this while i was in class during breaktime, i was thinking on what gb in my au (that is currently a wip rn) would look like and i had this funny thought to js dress him up in magical girl clothes so uhh, here-

I donāt think we talk about the comedy potential of the ultimate cookie, shadow milk, and eternal sugar fighting over control when they see hollyberry, pure vanilla, and Gingerbrave.

First up on the design train is our boy, Gingerbrave Cookie!
One of the most glaring changes to him is the fact that HE IS WEARING CLOTHES. I didn't add too much to his design, but just enough so that he can still move around freely.
Gingerbrave wears a green poncho of two colors, paired with leggings that cover his entire lower body, accompanied by, of course, a mysterious red gem. He is also considered to be an Epic Cookie in this AU, so Gingerbrave gets that long deserved upgrade. Woo!
He looks so happy in this... it's such a shame how time will unfold.

Usually the age misconception thing is just kind of an annoyance to me, but as the anniversaries near 18, I know that SOME PEOPLE are gonna use it as an excuse to be creeps about him. So, Iām gonna make a post clarifying it since some people canāt be bothered to remember basic information about this gameās main character.
Brave day, while marketed as GingerBraveās birthday, is canonically NOT. Itās simply an anniversary of the franchise, and they celebrate it with Brave specifically because heās the mascot and MC. However, they have been kinda toning down the whole āitās GingerBraveās birthday!ā thing lately because I think Devsis realized that next year is probably gonna be a disaster if they donāt.
The last time I tried explaining this to someone, they, for SOME REASON, refused to count the wiki as a valid source, so I have even MORE evidence if you still donāt believe me.
The update with awakened Dark Cacao and BY ep 4 released on June 28th, 2024. This was right after GingerBraveās ā15th birthday.ā The update with awakened Hollyberry and BY ep 10 released on June 4th, 2025. GingerBrave had his ā16th birthdayā during that update. But, as we know, those story events happened simultaneously; NO TIME PASSED. The story literally just doesnāt move in pace with irl time, so why would GingerBrave age in irl time?
So anyways, that begs the question of how old he actually is. Well, thatās actually two questions, because how old he looks and acts is different than how long ago he was baked.
To answer the latter first, itās probable that he was baked (in Kingdom, this one isnāt for other games) a little over a year ago from the current point in the timeline. Thatās because in Black Sapphireās year-end dinner show, he recounts everything that happened SINCE GINGERBRAVE BEING BAKED and ends it off with āthatās what happened during the past year!ā
I am taking this with a grain of salt because it is Black Sapphire, but that seems like a weird thing to have lied about.
Anyways, on to the part that actually matters.
Based on how he looks and acts, he does act like a child. Heās overly optimistic, very friendly, and doesnāt grasp some things like how older characters do. This is the kind of guy to say āawesome sauceā in an important diplomatic negotiation, heās not gonna be an adult ANY time soon š
However, I can confidently say heās around 10-12, especially leaning towards 12, for a couple of reasons.
For one, it fits with how he looks and acts. Devsis was also very comfortable saying it was actually his birthday in those years. Also, he literally has a costume with a 12 on it. They didnāt do that for any other year!
In conclusion, HEāS A KID! A 7th grader at the oldest! Stop being weird about him.
If you see anyone making an honest mistake, LET THEM KNOW. And if you see anyone genuinely being a pedophile on purpose, call them out and block them.

I had to stare at that fuckass thing on the right for so long while I was photobashing it I developed a temporary fear of the dark and had to sleep with the lights on. so that was really fun
