Just a warning I’m going to talk about topics pertaining to sex briefly also kinda a vent

I’m a trans-man. For a very long time I thought I was ace because I could not imagine having sex in a body like mine. I haven’t transitioned medically, I have a large chest, and I’m rather chubby. Online I see so much positivity about trans peoples bodies. But never positivity for mine. And if there is it’s few and far between for me. I struggle to pass and for a while I was genuinely disgusted with my body to the point I blocked out any sexual attraction because of how uncomfortable I was in my own skin.

The hatred I’ve seen towards fat men usually comes in the form of people in progressive spaces mocking the cis men who look like me. It happens when people are genuinely critiquing them but then they shift to body shaming. It doesn’t matter if they’re a bad person. When you point out their weight you equate it to a moral failing.

All this shit recently about the Epstein files and how “trans men are being whiny bitches because they aren’t being sexualized” hits very close to home. Because I have seen myself as a gross failure of a women for so long. I’ve felt guilt over the life I could have had if I didn’t transition. Over the beautiful young woman my friends and family vould have had vs. the ugly trans guy.

I’m having to learn to love myself when all I’m being fed is hatred.

And it fucking sucks man.

I know this is a very controversial thing to say but I think the belief that transfems inherently have it worse than transmascs is transandrophobic. I think we both experience similar kinds of oppression along with oppression that is unique to our experiences and trying to decide who has it "better" is not just impossible but absolutely unproductive.

Also the arguments made for this never made sense to me, because it's always something like "transmascs hold privilege over femmes because they don't have to deal with [thing that trans women often deal with]"

Which...okay? Trans women also aren't personally affected by abortion bans, but I wouldn't argue that not having a uterus makes them privileged over trans men. Just because someone doesn't experience a specific kind of oppression another group does, doesn't mean their own oppression is somehow less severe.

We also face violence. They also don't want us in our bathrooms. They also think we're sexual predators. We also have to prostitute ourselves to access care.

Trans people, regardless of their gender, cannot access gendered privileges because none of our genders are recognized or wanted. You are either a cis man or a cis woman or you are wrong and have to be fixed. That is the system we live under.

This is transandrophobia.

This is completly false. Rabbit shut down because they had no business model, were making no money whatsoever, and went bankrupt. What Rabbit did (host and stream remote-control virtual machines) is not inherently illegal by any means.

Hyperbeam is the exact same thing and I've been using it for years for perfectly legal activities -- you can display maps for d&d games, have youtube watch parties, play tag-team neopets, whatever you like. It has full access to the internet, so could someone do illegal things? Probably. But you could also do illegal things with your normal web browser. Not my problem.
