Ahh, it looks like Hamtaro had been napping out in the sunflower fields again. It wasn’t unusual to find him here, really. It should be expected, seeing as his school was nearly surrounded by them! The sunflowers are always so tall and colorful and inviting–what kid wouldn’t want to explore there?

Of course, even the most experienced of explorers can get sleepy when the sun hits just right. There’s no telling how long Hamtaro had been snoozing when the girl’s voice finally reached him; but as soon as it’d registered, his eyes fluttered open. A bit dazed at first, but…

“Ah, Ribbon-chan…!”

Shaking off any leftover drowsiness, curious grey eyes scanned the area. Nothing but flower stems as far as the eye could see…the sunflowers really are tall! Maybe he was just hearing things? What to do, what to do?

He would stand on his tip-toes, and stretch his arms out as high up to the sky as they could go, of course! Countless hours of exploring these vast lands has prepared him for this very moment, no doubt. Time to be the tallest and loudest sunflower to ever exist in the entire world!

Is... I guess that’s a compliment? It certainly seems to be for the little boy that’s currently circling Masaki. As if to study him from all angles. It really was amazing! Could he be wearing stilts under his pants? Even Papa or Noppo-kun weren’t nearly as tall as this guy! Is that even possible?
