I have accepted my reality that I need to stay near my parents place and I can’t afford to do a Masters Degree. Additionally, I haven’t been feeling so well this month (drank a lot of peppermint tea, as you can see), so I haven’t been as productive as I had hoped, reading lots of books instead. We’ll get there, slowly.

What a gift to the world is @aliceoseman's brilliant Heartstopper. A queer story so many of us can call home now and forever, where love is triumphant over fear. I feel so lucky to have watched it play out on screen over the past four years as I've navigated my early twenties, and to now finally see it come to a beautiful conclusion.

I love summer but I can't stand the heat. I'm really struggling with the temperature and it makes me slow and tired. Today was a crazy day at work and I'm looking forward to the holidays... Our school is not built for heat, it makes teaching unbearable. The students can't concentrate and me neither.
