From the exhibition Highlights of Taxidermy, these mounts are all quite old and at least one of them has burn marks from WWII bombs. There are cracks in the skin and they have lost some hair but they are still standing and absolutely gorgeous!

They had so many wet preserved fish and reptiles at the museum, you could spend an entire day in that one room and still not have seen everything by the end. I especially loved the sharks, they were so neat

I know I haven't been super active on here, but I swear I'm still alive!

This is one of the things I've been working on; a display for the para.keet skull I've had for years. It's only about the size of a quarter, so having a way to display it has been on my list for a long time and I just finally finished it. Really proud of how it turned out since I've never really made a little diorama like this before.

Nature cleaned/found goat jaw, goat heart, wolf eye, painted coyote heart, and the coyote's heartworms all from @blackbackedjackal 💕

I've had the coyote heart and worms for a couple of years but the rest are new 🥺
