This is Halloween this is Halloween!
daniel-doesnt-talk-nadir:
Daniel nodded and did chuckled a little. Writing out on his notepad, I’m sure I’ll get lost a lot. I’m not the best with directions. Not knowing what else to write he added, What are you dressed up as?
Tracey looked down at her costume and laughed sheepishly. "I'm Red Riding Hood. I couldn't think of a costume and I saw this and thought 'Hey! Why not?'" she said with a laugh.
"What about you? Are you dressing up for the party?"
Spooky Scary Skeletons || Bonnie and Tracey
bonnie-is-alone:
Bonnie laughed as she nodded, “Of course. No one else’s bum can sit there.” Shaking her head she said, “No you’re fine! I’m done with this song so you can pick the next one. I know a lot of songs and playing a new one would be fun.” She just couldn’t stop smiling as she help the guitar.
Tracey laughed. "Well thank you for this prestige honor." She chewed her cheek as she thought over what song to suggest. Her face lit up when one came to mind. "Do you know Hooked on a Feeling?"
Taking a Walk || Tracey and Amelia
amelia-anderson-thornewood:
Amelia chuckled, “Oh don’t worry dear, I get lost sometimes as well, and I own the building. I’ve had several patients…and staff suggest we make maps, which wouldn’t be a terrible idea.”
It was nice to know that Tracey was settling in. At times, the Warden found it difficult to keep staff, especially anyone involved in security. “And you’re still liking the job? Anything I can do to make it a bit easier?”
"I've heard that too. I actually am one of those people who complained about the maps," Tracey said, laughing sheepishly. "But wouldn't it be kind of bad to give the patients something that had the exits shown for them? Not that I don't trust them of course, but you never now."
"I love it so far. It keeps me busy and I get to hone my computer skills a bit more. I'm honestly grateful for this job!" She shook her head, smiling brightly. "No no it's alright. It's easy. And don't take me staying up late working as a sign it's not. That's all on me." She laughed, rubbing the back of her neck. "I honestly over work myself. Once I had a job or a goal I kinda don't stop until it's done. My brother used to, literally, drag me away from my computer and to my room."
Vere am I to go? || Oakley and Tracey
oakley-seeks-perfektion:
Turning to see the woman he smiled nodding, “Yes, I’m fery losht. I must hafe taken a vrong turn somevere. I vanted to get back to my room.” He was just so turned around with how big the facility was. His parents had shown him many photos but he never expected it to be so big that he’d get lost in ten minutes.
Tracey nodded her head, smiling at the boy. "Don't worry. I get lost all the time!" she laughed. "I am horrible with finding my way around here. Everything looks the same." She smiled and stuck her hand out. "I'm Tracey Madison by the way. Welcome to Thornewood."
Flu Shots
dr-phillip-nash:
Phillip chuckled. “I don’t think you’ll ever get that close to perfection, but it’s worth the shot.” Looking down at his watch he nodded, “I’m sorry- but I have to make my way up to the third floor infirmary to give flu shots to the guards. I’m sure we’ll bump into each other again.” He nodded and grabbed his clipboard. “Thank you again for getting the shot.”
"Not a problem!" she said smiling brightly. She got up and headed for the door as well. "Thanks for convincing me to get it," she laughed. "I'll see you around!"
charlie-malloy-thornewood:
He giggled. “Again, he’s in good company.”
Charlie smiled. “Also busy. But it’s been fun. I’ve been trying to improve my general knowledge. Thinking about doing a course. Early days, but there’s a plan,” he chatted, feeling extremely dorky.
"Oh really?" Tracey said a big smile forming on her face. "That's sounds great! What course are you thinking of taking? There were a ton of classes I wish I took when I was in school. Sometimes I regret not taking them, and other times I am relieved I didn't! What are you thinking of learning?"
"Leave me alone..." II Esmeralda and Open
esmeralda-whitlock:
Esmeralda shook her head but smiled the best she could in the situation, “Thank you though.” However, she noticed the woman seemed desperate to do something, so she asked, “Could you get one or two more blankets for me? I’m so cold.”
"Sure thing," Tracey said, smiling lightly at her before she quickly stood up. She bustled about the room, searching through the drawers until she found blankets. She smiled brightly as she pulled some out and rushed back to Esmeralda. "Here you go," she said, handing it to the brunette. She placed one around her shoulders and set the others by her legs. "Do you need another one or anything? Are you sure you're alright?"
"She is. Sometimes," he smirked, as the cat grumbled. "Oh, no, she knows. She will blame it on the dog," he giggled. "Oh, I’m glad," he continued to stroke the dog’s back, as the cat grumbled away. "She’s jealous. She’ll be alright."
"Yes, it has been a while…well, he’s in good company," he briefly pulled a face at the dog and chuckled to himself. "How are you?"
"Well that's good to know. Dexter will just take the blame and have no idea why she doesn't like him," she laughed.
"I'm good. I've been busy lately. How have you been?" Tracey smiled brightly.
"Leave me alone..." II Esmeralda and Open
esmeralda-whitlock:
Esmeralda took the hair tie and moved her hair away before looking up at the woman. “Yeah, just a new medication.” It wasn’t a lie, but she was just so tired of complaining about her disease. It wasn’t doing her any good, and she needed to try to just cope at that point.
Tracey sat down next to the woman. "I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked. She felt bad. She wanted to help, but didn't know what she could do.
Alice stood at the nurse’s station handing out the small cup of pills to each patient after scanning their bracelets. She smiled at them fondly and tried to make conversation with each one. As the last patient walked away, she waited for the next one to approach the desk. “Next!” she called loudly, but happily.
"Hi," Tracey said stepping up to the light brown haired woman. "You would happen to have any ibuprofen would you? I've been having a throbbing headache for the past hour and I still have a bit of work to get done."
"Leave me alone..." II Esmeralda and Open
Esmeralda groaned as she rolled over the side of the bed in the infirmary and spilled her last meal into a trashcan. She had been feeling terrible after the treatment, and the nurse kept poking and prodding at her. She felt tired after a long night of not getting any sleep, and just wished they’d give her something to make her nausea better.
As the person stayed around, Esmeralda groaned before asking, “Could I at least have a hair tie?”
"Of course," Tracey said, rushing over to Esmeralda. Her brow arched up as she stared at the girl worried. "Are you okay?" she asked.
Does anyone— Jesus fuckin’ christ. Do you know where the rooms are around here? I just need to get to level three, I need to lay down.
"Not a problem," Tracey smiled. "Do you need me to point you the way or do you need help getting there? I know that some people are good at getting places with just directions and some are like me who need to be shown," she said with a laugh.
Vere am I to go? || Oakley and ____
Oakley had already signed in and gotten everything into his room. It was convenient being on the first floor so he wouldn’t have to roll any of his bags up any stairs. After unpacking one of his bags he started wandering, soon getting lost in the big facility. Stopping he said to himself, “I zink I am lost.”
Tracey sighed as she folded up the list of things she had to do for the day. Somehow it had gotten longer than usual and somehow she was able to get it all done. She sighed once more, running a hand through her hair as she put it in her pocket. She stopped when she saw a blond haired boy standing in the middle of the hall. She chewed her cheek when she noticed he was a new face, and had a lost look as well. She approached him and cleared her throat.
"Hi, do you need some help?"
Taking a Walk || Tracey and Amelia
amelia-anderson-thornewood:
Amelia smiled, petting the dog’s head. “Aw,” the Warden said with a chuckle, “He’s so sweet. Hello there Dexter.” "I’m doing good," the older woman responded, wiping her hand on her pants before shaking the security guards hand. "Sorry, your dog apparently loves to give kisses." She looked back down at the puppy who was all excitement. "He really is quiet adorable. Have the two of you settled in well?"
Tracey laughed as she watched her puppy jump up at the woman.. "Yeah, Dexter loves to give kisses. He's such a ladies man."
She smiled and nodded her head. "Yes. I've finally gotten used to living here. It's a really interesting place. Although I still get lost through the number of halls every now and then. Dexter just got in last month, but I think he's settled in faster than me."
Flu Shots
dr-phillip-nash:
"Ah, well we all have bad habits don’t we? Expect for physicians, we’re perfect. Not a flaw to us."
"Oh of course," Tracey said laughing. "You're who we strive to be in health. I will definitely do my best to follow your example," she said with a wink.
Curiouser and Curiouser {Open}
antares-craven:
Antares smiled, shaking his head. He honestly didn’t find his name to be all that fascinating, though he did love it. “Thank you.” He said simply, choosing to go along with her thoughts. “I will be sure to do so, it would be awfully nice to have someone to rely on to help me find my way when I am utterly lost.” He replied, chuckling quietly.
"Not a problem," Tracey said, smiling brightly. "Kinda also my job to help and lead people through the hospital anyways," she laughed. "That and sooo many other things." She made a face sticking her tongue out.
She laughed lightly and smiled at Antares. "Where are you from?"
