i hate the fact that more and more people are using AI to generate themselves fanfiction on wattpad and ao3, or any app or website really, and publishing them as their 'own' works

its really saddening how weve come to using AI to generate something for our fandoms ( for example, ive come upon a few particular drarry, byler, and heated rivalry fanfics that i will not state their usernames, that have been proven to be made from AI ).

not only does this make it much more difficult to browse for fanfics that we might like, but it also proves the fact that we are devolving into people who rely on AI, might i remind you, a TOOL, to replace human writing and creativity. nobody is forcing you to write something good! you can enjoy writing, you can also enjoy reading what others have created, and there are so many possibilities for you, even if you can't make perfect fanfiction!

nobody will shame you for writing with poor grammar, nobody will shame you for writing something with holes in the lore, canon or fanon, and nobody will shame you for using em-dashes. you don't have to write 600 chapters in one single day! you can take loooongg, loooooooong breaks from writing something without another update, maybe for weeks, months, maybe a year, and nobody will shame you for that! you can write a super short one shot, and there will still be people who click on it and leave kudos!

fanfiction is called fanfiction because it is meant to be written by a fan, not artificial intelligence.

i think pittsie is my favorite and the best representation we have of a quiet kid ( that i know of ) in coming of age movies like dead poets society.

hes not a genius at everything like meeks, hes not 'charming' like charlie, hes not 'charismatic' like neil, hes not romantic like knox, hes not known for his passion for poetry like todd, and that just makes him stuck in between and easily forgotten (?). he's the average student you'd find at boarding schools and that's probably the reason why we rarely see people who love pitts. its always neil that todd this charlie that but what about our lovely dork gerrard pitts??

what if samuel had never catapulted the bees nest onto alberts head? would that have resulted in albert growing up WITH morales and not hold a grudge for his siblings and family? what would that contribute to the lore? would he have turned out better or as a good person, while roses artificial birth would not have happened in the first place? perhaps he would still have fallen for ida but not hold as much of a grudge as he did with all that voodo.. would his plans to make his family die in misery and agony simply not come to thought? was the cause of all this suffering that permanent scar on his head from the bee nest?

i like to think that albert was not exactly rotten from the core from birth but turned into a rotten monster as he aged up that could have been preventable (?) , but rusty lake had made it clear albert vanderboom himself is a living interpretation of the devil inside of the games which contradicts with my opinion. just a little rant i got off the whim lol

i truly love todd anderson oh so much no words can explain how much i see myself in his character. regardless if its anderperry or todd himself, to me he's forever one of the best characters in dead poets society. todd anderson is the type of person to have so much to say yet nothing to say, to yearn to be seen yet feel so uncomfortable in the spotlight, to always stay in the shadow of other people. we often choose our favorite characters because we see ourselves in them, and todd here is one of those characters many easily relate to ( yes including me harharhar ) MY SHAYLAA...
