will the link from the skyward sword manga be canon?

No. I might make a design for him, but he isn’t, and never will be, canon.

The thing with characters from non-canon material is that I only add them if I like the material enough (hence why Warrior exists and is canon and why Apple is, not only, the hero of ALttP/OoX/LA, but also Cadence of Hyrule).

Plus, I’ve given myself a limit of 14 Links (for now, this might change when more Zelda games release).

I feel like I should say this, but, the way Rainbow’s tunic works when “split” is that, each of the four have their colour, and their tunics reflect that. They are not people, they are parts of a person, and so their tunics are only partially their colour while the rest will be grey.
