Almost a year now since I had my heart surgery. Since then I have not had pizza, burgers, cheese, coke zero, cheese doodles, crisps, sweets... Basically nothing of the things I love. Maybe one day I dare to have a little of these things again... For now I stick to fish, vegetables and rice. To hook grip or not to hook grip... In my opinion; get your hands used to always doing it for lifting a bar off the floor. I even do my 1RM deadlift with hook grip (in video 3 reps tho...) Disco lights... No matter the outcome for Cyprus TD 17.3 I am still happy I have improved my OHS enough to do so many reps at 50 kg without lifters. It only took about 2 years of consistent mobility work. And lots of OH squatting of course. Be patient and the results will come.
