I'm not for kink shaming but I'm gonna be real detrans and misgendering kinks can very easily be pipelines to groom trans men into detransitioning in real life. I feel like it comes from the isolation of being transmasc, and how we're only seen as desirable when we're performing femininity (you know the common story of young tboys being groomed by older cis guys who don't see them as men so they detransition? Doesn't it seem familiar?), especially performing femininity sexually. You either keep it very strictly fantasy and make sure you've got everything under control or you're at a pretty high risk of getting groomed.

Strange phenomenon I’ve noticed is that trans positive cis men tend to be more pro-trans than trans positive cis women. Like cis women don’t really know how to interact with me and tend to skirt around my transness even if they’re not transphobic while pro-trans cis men will go out of their way to include me and hype up my masculinity without making it too obvious. Shame the ratio is like 1/5

a cis woman who barely knew me told me i was lucky that being a man made my autism diagnosis easier to get.

i was diagnosed before i came out. i was diagnosed 9 years older than my brother, who was diagnosed when he was *four*. my diagnostic process took a year. as a now out transmasculine person, i had a cis male psychiatrist attempt to revoke my autism diagnosis, medicate me, and replace the autism with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder. this happened a month before the cis woman said this to me.

(I also don't even know if i'm a man. i'm transmasculine in the sense i present male to the world and am on T, but i feel disconnected from gender at its core.)

People who “don’t believe in transandrophobia” or “don’t believe that transmascs experience misogyny” are participating in mass trauma denialism towards a marginalized group and I think we should call it what it is more.

having free control over our endrocrine systems and the ability to change our genitals is currently inextricably tied to trans rights, and for good reason, but frankly i don't think it even needs to be. it should just be a matter of bodily autonomy, and that should be universal. if a cis dude wants tits and a pussy i think that would be fine. if cis women want a dick or nothing at all that should be allowed i think. people shouldn't need to be transgender to be allowed to change their bodies. free the nipple, enlarge the nipple, remove the nipple. whatever the fuck you want. i dont know if there's a term for this belief but i hold it very strongly. everybody biohack yourselves NOW

on another note, it's also... i don't know. i think it's really vile how, within some of these radfem queer spaces, trans men and nonbinary people are often lumped into "less queer" transness together... does that make sense?

when a lot of radfem queer people talk about trans women, for instance, they'll talk about how much of a struggle it is to transition socially and materially. but then some of those same people will turn around and act like nonbinary people are just quirky people who dress androgynously so their social issues don't REALLY matter because absolutely 100% none of them are as "serious" about their transitions. and then trans men are either slotted into that same category OR they're "basically a cis man" in a derogatory way that implies they don't deserve to be in the community if they pass at all.
