For all the reasons I'm beginning to hate denver, (traffic, rapid growth)... there is a reason I will always love denver. Wooden Spoon is such an amazing place for breakfast. Their macaroons are amazing, but their breakfast turnovers (churizo turnover pictured above) is why I always com back. Definitely try their prosciutto croissant!!

i started this blog last year after my first trip to Coachella. This year was nothing short of amazing! Holy Ghost! Pet Shop Boys, Lana Del Rey, Chvrches, Elie Goulding, Pharrell, Empire of the Sun, The Glitch Mob, Dillon Francis, and Arcade Fire were simply amazing.

I was introduced to Lana Del Rey's music by my friend Nicole (Nini) after a photoshoot with her two years ago. Blue Jeans was one of the most amazing songs I had ever heard in a while at that time. What I didn't know was that she opened a whole new world of music for me. Thanks Nini! "West Coast" is her new track and I'm excited that Dan Aurback from The Black Keys will have a role in her next album!

old major is possibly my favorite restaurant in Denver right now. One good thing can come of Denver growing so quickly, and that's all the good places to eat at recently. Old Major, named after the pig in Charlotte's Web, has one of the best happy hours. Pictured above is their sausage plate, the kim chi burger (my favorite), mussels, and an oyster. Their meticulous detail and staff are amazing! Their cocktails are amazing and their charcuterie plate is also top notch as they cure their own meat there.

Age limit or maximum to success?

You can be any age and start to be successful. Travel, and then come back and be successful. 

Listening to David Choe’s podcast can be very inspiring. When David Chang was on, they both talked about their best work coming from when they were angry and young. When you’re 20, you think you know everything, but you don’t know shit. If you can make it then, you’ll make it. Just like anyone who started a business in the recession or bought a home in the recession, you made big bucks.. why? because you have fucking guts. you do what others fear, and i look up to you.

korean bbq - gen korean bbq was awesome. This is the first time I had green tea salt. It was actually many firsts for me here. The poem belly (samgyubsal) was my absolute favorite!
