Hello! There is a first time for everything and I suppose one of them is playing the role of a trans missionary ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I have no clue what is in store for this blog (or how active it will be), but there will certainly be topics of trans, queer and mental illness. The goal is to keep it light hearted, but if something serious that relates to the content of this blog is important to show I'll tag it accordingly. Of course, as I said, this blog is meant to be for the fun of it and most posts will be silly still :3.

Marsha P. Johnson allegedly died of suicide in 1992, and her death was never investigated. Even I, a mere prole, could catch the “she was murdered” vibes from the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body.

Without a trans black woman, LGBT+ rights would not exist. Never forget. Never “pay it no mind”.

Chik-fil-le sandwich

INGREDIENTS:

4 hamburger buns, split

1 head green leaf lettuce, leaves separated

1 beefsteak tomato, sliced

20 dill pickle slices

FOR THE CHICKEN

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup dill pickle juice

1 ½ cups milk, divided

1 cup peanut oil

1 large egg

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS:

Place a chicken breast on a cutting board. With your hand flat on top of it, carefully slice the chicken in half horizontally. Trim excess fat as needed.

In a large shallow baking dish, combine chicken, pickle juice and ½ cup milk; marinate for at least 30 minutes. Drain well.

Heat peanut oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.

In another large shallow baking dish, whisk together remaining 1 cup milk and egg. Stir in chicken to coat and drain excess milk mixture.

In a gallon size Ziploc bag or large bowl, combine chicken, flour and confectioners’ sugar; season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Working in batches, add chicken to the skillet and cook until evenly golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

Serve chicken immediately on burger buns with green leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles.

It’s weird to me because even when I thought I was cis I told everyone I was gonna change my name because I never liked it, like I didn’t even realize I was trans but I still told people I hated my legal name, although even then no one would call me the names I preferred, I really liked Perry as a kid

For anyone worried, Changing your legal name to something you like isn't just a "trans thing". Like you don't need any other reason but that you want to change it. Be free! Go make your name as ugly or pretty as you want. Just make sure to he doing it instead of wishing for it to happen.
