I haven’t seen an active trans culture account, so I’m making one! Inspired and modeled after @ace-culture-is and @aro-culture-is :)

Begin each post with “trans culture is” or “____ trans culture is”/a varient (ex: “transmasc culture is” “genderfluid culture is” “afab trans culture is” “neurodivergent trans culture is” etc.) Note: Anyone who is intersex and/or not 100% cis (as in does not identify solely and completely with their AGAB) has a place in the trans community and are valid and valuable contributors to this blog.

Trans culture is remembering that time you made yourself dysphoric after you had a very ‘girly’ reaction to nearly stepping on a slow worm tail (which for those of you who don’t know they break off as a panic reflex while the tail keeps on moving while it’s all bloody and headless)

Trans culture is feeling aligned with you AGAB and immediately going "oh, guess i've been faking it then" because society has conditioned you to believe that since you sometimes agree with your AGAB, you're faking your own gender identity and you're "basically cis", even though you know you're not.

Closeted trans culture is having your parents think you wear baggy clothes because you aren’t confident when the reality is that hiding your hips gives you an insane amount of confidence
