Do I make an unwise financial decision and buy a very nice shirt that is 70 real dollars?
Literally all of my clothing is secondhand, and the most expensive piece of it cost like 15 bucks
But the shirt is really pretty, and it would be nice to have a quality piece of clothing just for once in my life.
I have the budget for it, just for this fleeting moment in time after I got paid for a couple of odd jobs I did for coworkers
I shouldn't, but it's just such a nice shirt.
It would be so much more expensive than all of my other clothes, though, and what if I need the money later?
I make literally less than a dollar above minimum wage. Is it silly to want something so frivolous? Is it stupid to buy a single expensive piece of clothing when I could use the money for something else?
I'm actually really torn on this. Please weigh in.
seeing 4 without his scarf feels wrong... like who is this man
I really hope that when Doctor Who comes back, we get to see the Spy Master and the Rani Prime again.
They're very fun iterations of the characters, and I think both of them have so much more that they could offer the show!
Was looking at 1890s fashion for a reference, and you cannot convince me that the bottom frame of this image doesn't just look like a screen from an old mystery game.
Does this sell the vision better?
Oh my god, did you guys hear about Berlin?
All fantasy authors wish they had a bigger bathtub in their house. You can tell by every bathing scene ever written into a fantasy novel
hey can you guys keep an eye on my red explosive barrels while i go take a nap
do NOT smoke weed beside them
very funny bit happening in the replies
Ah yes, the First Doctor and his 4 granddaughters.
Who wants to go to work for me tomorrow night so I can lock myself in the Museum to work on updating the exhibits for the whole day?

OP turned reblogs off but as someone with a crazy wicked scar that's been called "body horror" a few times, I really wanted this on my blog
in fact I think all of these are beautiful, cool, neat, or just neutral. nothing negative about any of it. also goes for implants, I've known people with implants of all kinds be made fun of, but that shit isn't ugly or gross either, it's just neutral and or positive
just received the best text message I’ve ever had. from my mom

I had to draw this beautiful lady
and if i said nolan's odyssey starring no greek actors and with no recognizable aspects of greek culture or involvement by greeks, is the direct legacy of white supremacist colonialism that treated ancient greece as not just the pinnacle of ancient culture, but of an artificially created "european" culture, which white western europeans and their settler descendants, as the new pinnacle of culture, were the sole spiritual inheritors of.
^^^ PEOPLE ARE STILL THERE. There's a metro station across the street from the colosseum where i found a hair in my pizza slice. We drove by ruins of an amphitheater next to a motorway in greece once. It's literally just real places where real people live and have lived. It's not mythical perfect lands that once existed. I went to Itacha in 2023 and there was not enough parking space.
