also i am once again thinking about how tony is absolutely set up to be a technomancer / mage even without extremis, because things work even when they absolutely shouldn't because they're busted beyond repair and all he really can do in the moment is think real hard at it, and how despite this - and outside of a few very special circumstances - will never ever ever ever explore that side of himself because magic is stupid.
