HUGE congratulations on getting to know yourself better. from one they/he transmasc to another...i mean, honestly, i'm sure this is a super weird time right now, and i really hope that you're giving yourself grace, and that you have the space to process & people to do it with! it's such a personal realization, and it kind of upends your whole life, and can feel super overwhelming (especially given the State Of The World TM, YIKES!).
...but from where i'm standing, four years down the road from that moment of finally letting myself realize, i can promise you there's so much joy waiting for you as you get to grow into yourself <3 i'm so proud of you (is that a weird thing for an internet acquaintance to say? sorry, lol), and i'm so, so excited for you. if you ever want to chat, my messages are open!
I was literally minding my own business, just brainstorming ideas for a fall wardrobe, when my brain decided to personally attack me with a revelation I was not prepared for. I'm not kidding, it came out of left field and I ended up crying for the rest of the day and honestly, I'm still in shock, but I decided that I'm going to be supportive of myself, because this self-loathing business didn't really work out like I thought it would. There is so much to unpack, I don't even know where to start, but I'm going to do my therapist proud and choose self-compassion.
