just had a long discussion w my mom, who thinks being trans is a choice. she didnt understand my dysphoria and the struggles that come with it. she said im being dramatic because “other transgenders dont go through that!”. mind you, a few days ago i saw her watching videos on youtube of people like chase ross talking about not needing dysphoria.

I was once a tucute

I once believed that anyone could be trans, and that you didn’t need dysphoria to be trans, I thought I was trans even though I never had dysphoria, never was diagnosed and never had a therapist.

I started HRT back in mid 2017, lied to my doctor about having dysphoria, and was able to get testosterone with informed consent, and it was the worst thing I have ever done. My body is ruined, my life is ruined. It was a horrible mistake, but I was so influenced by tucutes I thought it was okay.

I never researched anything, I didn’t take it seriously, I thought it would be fun, because tucutes made it look fun.

Detransitioning is the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, and I’m just glad that I stopped before I went through with top surgery.
