Final for my Time Arts class. Nothing gets you in touch with your own anger quite like listening to this and thinking about all the times you’ve been objectified and belittled.
these are both still male dominated like……….this is wrong this is not more women than men look its plain and simple wtf
Men, despite dominating STEM fields, demonstrating that they do not even have a basic grasp on math.
Okay as depressing as this is, it’s really hilarious.
this is taking those “men think women dominate a conversation if they speak approx. 30% of the time” studies to a whole new level

Under appreciated brilliance in Legally Blonde: when an innocent woman on trial for murder learns that her lawyer (“the top defence attorney in the state”) sexually harassed one of his students—the same student who had been kind to her, believed in her, and refused to share the alibi she’d been told in confidence—causing her to decide on dropping out of law school in distress, said innocent woman decides to risk prison by firing the TOP DEFENCE ATTORNEY IN THE STATE to whom she has paid a fortune and have said law student defend her instead, in order to prevent her dropping out of school and giving up on a promising career. This decision is supported by the law student’s ex boyfriend’s fiancé, and the presumably long term colleague of the offending attourney who is a partner in his firm and thus would have clear motives for disbelieving or dismissing the report of harassment, but does not.
Elle is believed, her harasser faces immediate consequences for his actions, and she is rallied round by a group of friends, coworkers, and even a teacher (“If you’re going to let one stupid prick ruin your life, you’re not the girl I thought you were.”) who go out of their way to support her and ensure that the harassment she faced does not destroy her future—even when an innocent woman has to put her own freedom on the line to do it.
Legally Blonde didn’t have to go so hard but it Did That and I love it

ok can we agree that the WORST feeling is when you’re just sitting around consciously procrastinating and you’re just overly aware that each second that passes is more time wasted and you like watch hours pass and you’re STILL procrastinating and you CANT STOP and your panicked brain is trapped inside a body that refuses to be productive and inside you’re screaming but outwardly you’re just eating chips
that’s not procrastination that’s executive disfunction
oh
But I relate to this too much.
aw shit
ah fuck
oh crap
uh oh
theres a name for this shit? i thought this WAS procrastination.
Shit….
Damn
(I’m literally doing that rn)
executive dysfunction is something that quite a few people struggle with, including myself.
it’s a hallmark trait of several mental illnesses, possibly the most notable and common being adhd and depression.
executive dysfunction is characterized, in simple terms, as knowing what needs to be done and wanting to do it, but experiencing a sort of paralysis that prevents you from taking the necessary steps to complete it.
allow me to present an example
you can KNOW that you have an essay due next week, and you can have full access to the time and resources needed to complete the essay, but there’s some unidentifiable, yet insurmountable mental barrier that’s preventing you from just sitting down and doing the essay.
you find that you have the energy to clean the bathroom, reread the third harry potter book, and rewatch all of sherlock. but you literally CANNOT force yourself to just open the word document and start typing.
you can stress yourself out about it to the point of tears. you can give yourself all the self-imposed ultimatums in the world. you can sit in front of a blank document for hours.
but you can’t do the essay.
you feel lazy, stupid, incompetent. this should’ve been easy, everyone else got it done, why couldn’t you?
so anyway, that’s executive dysfunction. if you experience something similar to that on a regular basis, lemme tell you right now that YOU ARE NOT LAZY OR STUPID. actually, many of the people who struggle with executive dysfunction are overachievers or exceptionally intelligent people. the universe had to nerf us with an inability to get things done, or we would’ve taken over the earth by now.
if you’ve somehow come to the conclusion that you struggle with executive dysfunction, i would highly recommend talking to a professional. there’s probably an underlying cause that can be worked on with meds and/or therapy.
if anyone has any more questions, feel free to contact me! i probably have answers or can refer to someone who does!
think this might have been the first post i saw about executive dysfunction that made me go “oh….wait a minute”
Oh shit now everything makes sense
Another hint that I probably have ADHD
Well fuck.
