Minimal Rituals for a closet kemetic
This Wen Rompet season, I find myself in a position unable to do most of what I’d like to as a result of many factors.
So, here we are, having a small minimal ritual- a smashing of the red pot, minus the smashing and the red pot
Ripping of the Red Paper
Supplies:
Red Painted
A slip of paper
A writing utensil
A way to burn paper
How to do it:
Draw the s/n/a/k/e on one side of the paper, segmented
Paint the s/n/a/k/e red, similar to how you would a red pot
On the back side of the slip of paper, write all the things you wish to banish. This can be in either word splash format or in real sentences- your choice
Rip the paper- focus your rage upon tearing up the s/n/a/k/e
Burn it- by whatever means you deem worthy. Bonfire, candle, lighter, match, anything is fair game so long as it destroys the s/n/a/k/e in its entirety rendering it unrecognizable
