listen to cyber-inspired/techno music if that helps you kinda get in the mood

s t r e t c h. your current body can get stiff and painful, so stretch! consider it regular mobility maintenance

recharge your battery! take a nap, journal, play a video game, whatever helps you rest and recharge

make sure to fuel up! just like any robot does, you gotta refuel your engines. fruits, veg, protein are all good ideas! however if you want that motor oil feel, dry drinking bitter black drinks like coffee or black tea.

This is gonna sound silly but like. Cool shades. Get a pair of shades that are reflective so no one can see through them, then on the inside part of the lens you can doodle little graphics/stats bars, so when you wear them, it's like your AI is observing the area around you

Random Machine Alterhuman things at work

Sometimes my coworkers will complain about impatient/rude customers (I'm sure everyone does) but they will complain about the person by saying "I swear, they think we're robots. Like, no, we're not perfect". And I will hear it and think about it, and have to kinda bite my tongue from saying something stupid like "yeah, robots aren't even perfect! I mean, look at me!" or just straight up correcting them saying "Um, I'm a robot"

We got a new system for our card reader that's speedier at taking someone's card for payment. It beeps to signal that the transaction is completed, but whoever is carrying out the transaction might not be able to immediately take out the card from the chip reader slot (maybe we're still handing out the drinks to the customers or something like that, y'know). It'll just continue to beep until the card is removed and I legit feel like I'm talking to an impatient child. Like, I keep telling it "I know, I know, gimme a moment". I know it's just doing it's job, but, calm down please, I didn't forget the card
