Mod had adapted well to his new vessel, apparently the boy was the leader of a fraternity, Asmodeus liked parties and the whole college environment, all the lust that filled the students’ blood, he was satisfied. That afternoon a small event was happening, they wanted to get money for the parties, the fraternity members and some girls held a car wash, they charged $ 20 dollars to clean the outside and inside of the car and only $ 15 to clean the outside, for his little knowledge on the subject already corrupted by the influence of the media he imagined he would be surrounded by pretty girls in bikinis, the plan looked good.

“Hey, high school musical” heard someone calling him, leaving the beer on the floor and getting up from his chair, walking towards the person who handed him a pair of shorts. Asmodeus looked at the stranger with a confused expression “It’s your turn” the person said, pushing him into the locker room and closing the door. The demon left after a few minutes, being pulled into the crowd, was placed with some other fraternity boys.

“It must be a mistake, I didn’t sign up to wash cars” he felt oil being poured over his body, hands roaming his bare chest spreading the product. He blew out a breath, rolling his eyes, a  hopelessness expression on his face “This is definitely not what I expected”

Laura looked down at her phone, wondering if this was the dumbest mistake she’d ever made. She’d just grown tired of her boring schedule of going to work, then going home. She wanted to get out there, meet people. And someone at work had told her about an app she could find people to meet up with on, and well… in a moment of weakness, she’d gone for it, clicking through people until she found someone to start talking to.

And now they’d arranged to meet at the diner, and she looked around anxiously from the booth in the corner, where she said she’d be. Seeing someone familiar coming over, she quickly stood up, smiling awkwardly.

“Hi, I’m Laura. But you knew that, I guess.” She chuckled. “Is this place okay? I figured we could meet somewhere casual.”

The empty streets had already become well known to him, he walked tirelessly through them, walking them while the whole city slept, hidden in the dense darkness of the night. He was feeling nostalgic, it had started after his reunion with Kaleb, his mind infested with memories and most of them about the Other Side. The purgatory was nothing like what the stories tell, it is an empty and dark place, because being a vampire Kol could not see the other inhabitants, but he could hear them, his cries of pain and regret. There were also spiteful spirits, enemies of past life who had the chance to take their revenge, physical violence was as real as in the world of the living, it was common to be constantly hurt. As time goes by, all the worst moments in your history start to pass through your mind, like a constant horror movie, slowly driving you crazy. The only possible form of interaction with the outside world was when a witch performed the spell that allowed the dead to communicate, which was not very common. It was like being in a big black hole, just darkness wherever you looked, it never came to an end no matter how far you walked. The original could feel everything, the anger, the fear, the pain, the loss of sanity, it was as if he were there again, that mixture of feelings that had previously fallen asleep now woke up, like an erupting volcano. He felt the blood in his veins burn with anger, the strong ringing in his ear making him crazy, his once green eyes turning completely black, blinding him completely, he remembered that Lucifer had said that after tasting his blood all his emotions would be intensified. The streetlights flashed quickly, the ground trembled around him, the wind was blowing harder now, stirring everything around, he could hear the alarm of the cars around. Some lamps from some streetlights burst, causing a loud noise, the spark burning some leaves that were on the ground, flames arising quickly. Blood dripped from the nose of the vampire who was trapped in a kind of trance. Then he felt a touch on his shoulder, bringing him back from his blind panic, all the chaos around him ceased completely, the lights stabilized again, the fire went out and the street was once again silent, the wind was no longer strong. Tasting the blood on his lips, Kol ran his hand over his nose, wiping the blood from there, turning around, looking for the hand that had touched him

The afternoon sun was shining brightly, the gentle breeze stirring the tree tops of Beacon Hills Park, if you looked more closely, you could see the blonde hiding among the trees, watching the people walking in the park. There was a man walking a dog on a leash, a few steps away there was a woman who seemed to be doing some kind of picnic, the food exposed under the square blanket, there was a book in her hands and she seemed very attentive. Cupid took one of her arrows, preparing it, her arm outstretched while her hand held the bow firmly. She took a deep breath, letting it out and releasing the arrow, hitting the man, then took her second, now hitting the woman. The dog, previously attached to a leash, released itself, running towards the woman, knocking down everything that was there, accompanied by its owner, who was embarrassed and started a conversation with the woman. A slight smile appeared on Love’s lips, which turned, being surprised by someone who was there. She realized that the whole scene looked strange, the way her arms were holding the bow that were invisible to human eyes. The woman lowered her arm, giving a slightly embarrassed smile “I was … training, I want to start archery”

Everything was almost set for the opening of the shop. Bonnie still had to work on inventory but today she was setting up the shop the way she wanted.
