EVERYONE DOES THIS. WHY. I GET IT. I AM HUMAN, AND YOU ARE, TOO. SHOCKING.
Is there a reason why they prescribed you gel? I hope that isn't to nosy. I'm in the process of trying to get approved for T.
Not too nosy at all, and yes!
In Norway the process of getting hormones/surgery is pretty long and shitty. On average it takes almost 10 years from start to finish, and they refuse about 80% of all appliers. Luckily, I found out that in theory, my personal doctor could prescribe me a low dose of testosterone outside of the system, so to speak. My doctor has never given testosterone to a transgendered person before, so she wanted to start slow and with a low dose, to see how my body handles it.
I am also a singer, and studies show that lower doses of T taken more often gives a bigger chance not permanently damaging the singing voice. Here is a post expanding a bit on this topic http://trashboyinblue.tumblr.com/post/104703494311/bbseamonster-i-get-asked-about-this-quite
My name is Tony and I’m a 19 year old transgender male from Philadelphia, PA. I was set to have my top surgery on April 22nd 2015, but at the very last minute I was informed by my insurance company that I would not be receiving a reimbursement from them. Therefore, aside from the money I have alr...
I just need $1500 more and so far I’m up to $330. My payment date is July 1st. Please donate if you can. Even if its just a dollar. Every little bit counts and will bring me closer to my goal. Thanks so much.
I'll keep you updated on my changes on Testogel. If anyone has any questions, just send me an ask and I'll do my best to answer!
Let’s welcome this new member of the family, who is deeply loved and was just what this family needed; the sloppy man-bun.
Indicates deep satisfaction and/or relaxation. If I wear my hair in a sloppy man-bun around you, I trust you.
You are so cool :33
wOAH thank you! I’m actually a huge dork ahaha
hey! This is not meant as a rude question in any way and I'm sorry if it comes off as it, but considering you're an ftm, are there things you view as "strictly" feminine or girly? Like the colour pink, dresses, make-up, long hair, etc... And in that case, does that mean transexuality is bound to genderroles?
Hi anon! Sorry for taking so long with this. No, I don’t think there are any “strictly” feminine or masculine things. As long as you feel like a man, you are a man. I already know men who have worn dresses, or who wears the colour pink because it’s their favourite, and lots and LOTS of guys with long hair. Also, guys use makeup all the time. They are still men, all of them, as long as they FEEL like men. If they don’t, then they’re not.
I do believe that lots of people have things they view as too feminine or masculine FOR THEMSELVES, but that’s a question of personal taste. :)
Happy Trans Day of Visibility, folks! [He/him]
why is everything blue i’m just kidding i love blue
Don't assume that all trans people have unlimited knowledge about gender/surgeries/etc.
Please take your internalized transphobia elsewhere, because let's get real: you wouldn't ask a cis-guy the same thing.
An evolution of me. I've only recently started living my life as ME, and not as someone I thought I should be. I still have a long way to go, but I'll get there. I'll get there.
