“Don’t chase people. Be yourself, do your own thing, and love people. The right people - the ones who really belong in your life - will come to you, and stay.”
— Will Smith (via thoughtkick)
a fun adhd thing to do is reflexively repeat noises or words you hear around you either weirdly to yourself or weirdly directly to other people or, in a fun and not weird way, to your cat
Yeah it's called echolalia and it is also an autism thing too!
i simply call it vibing 😌
So I used to live with 2 others who have ADD and Autism and yes exactly what you think would happen when one of us makes a funny noise absolutely happens
being in the car for a 2 day roadtrip with rosewood and @l-heure-du-the was amazing. But when max had to fly home and we drove back without them it was like noise! Noise! *silence* both of us: oh. :(

i really wish everyone had good hearts and good intentions for others. honestly.

Hey Tumblr what up, it's been a while
A busker plays music for a blind autistic girl sitting in a wheelchair. She’s being allowed to stim (flapping and rubbing her shirt) and respond to the music her own natural way. The busker places her hand on the guitar to let her see what is creating the music, and she smiles as he sings to her. They made a connection. That is autism acceptance. Take note. Many autistic people will open up to you like a flower if you gently connect with them in ways that work for them instead of forcing them to connect with you in ways that only work for you. I hope that sweet kid grows up to be a musician or artist! :)
A Surprise Pairing~

can we all agree that pressing foreheads together is an underrated act of affection??
the ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ has only been actually typed once by a single person, everyone else who has ever used it has just googled “shrug emoji” and copy-pasted it
