i just fell to my knees. there are two versions in my head now:

1. full designer zhongli and idol scara

there are so many possibilities... but my favorite ones to rotate in my head are:

1. nahida asks him to deliver something to liyue, which is probably the most possible one in canon rn. i think nahida would want to reach out to the other archons once the situation in sumeru has stabilized, and well liyue is the nearest region... she has him send a letter physically or smth bc it would be suspicious if an archon randomly sent a letter to Some Guy

2. he goes to liyue for his fucking thesis or whatever. like maybe he expands his focus from just inazuma to southeastern regions (typing that out felt crazy), or he goes to liyue to corroborate his memories or existing records... somehow. work with me here. JDJSJSJSJ.

3. pre-wanderer: he runs into zhongli during the unreconciled stars event. this one is yummy to me bc obvs scara is still Scara, but i also wonder how zhongli would feel having another harbinger just skipping around liyue. like its technically none of his business at that point but i like to think part of his agreement w the tsaritsa was no more Blatant harbinger bullshit in liyue? like he has no more use for the fatui/the harbingers etc.

if we're going w current genshin canon, i think they'd have a small ceremony :3 i imagine they went through the actual legal things beforehand (knowing zhongli) so this is more like an intimate celebration/announcement since neither of them are in any sort of social spotlight for a huge gathering and scara probably doesnt want that lol.

not sure abt theme but i know it would definitely be more liyue-styled bc zhongli is zhongli, and scara doesn't exactly have/want cultural connections to inazuma at this point. but i can imagine nahida very sweetly asking if they can have some sumeru customs in and theres no way zhongli can say no to the darling sweetest youngest baby archon who never did anything wrong.
