Was it morally repugnant of them, Loki wonders, that they did not feel anger, outrage, upon waking up to learn that Thanos had completed his quest, had erased half of the universe as he had intended? To speak plainly, it was not as if, like most of the universe, Loki had lost lives dear to them in the incident, as they had had the fortune of experiencing any deaths that may have caused them distress beforehand. No, it was as if the dolourous cloud of hopelessness and grief that seemed to have settled over Midgard in the wake of the, ah, dust settling was infectious, and Loki was having to breathe it in as well, with every slow inhale.

Loki stares out at the profile of Adrian Veidt from their makeshift sickbed, at the human who had plucked them from the wreckage of one of his own buildings and cared for them while their stubbornly tenuous skin and bone knit itself together, and wonders at what the Avengers might be feeling right now. Veidt was apparently a retired vigilante, and had not even been involved in the physical fight against Thanos ------ and even he had that faraway, dulled look in his eyes, the sort common to those who had come back from terrible wars. Likely the Avengers were sitting in their compound, feeling the bone-crushing weight of the knowledge of their failure, letting it settle, letting it cloy.

It was a feeling Loki was intimately acquainted with, of course. Perhaps the Avengers too would learn that the pain dulled itself with every repeated blow, that it helped to simply stop expecting success from yourself.

Thanos is dead, apparently, and the stones ‘no longer a threat’. Likely destroyed. There really is no going back, fixing it. Loki wonders how well the Avengers are taking that, as well.

Loki is silent, for a minute, after Adrian has spoken. They have not been conscious for very long, have not had the chance to think of what to do with their future, in a universe that was free of Thanos but half-dead and shell-shocked. There are more immediate things that can be done, though ------ there is nothing about the sight of Veidt so listless and dull-eyed, as if he has lost the one thing remaining to him, that pleases Loki. They had been there, once. For Loki it had been their sense of self. For Veidt it had evidently been hope. The future. Loki would certainly have told him how foolish it was to make such a thing one's sole motivation, had they known him --- before all this.

They are not entirely sure what they are doing, but finds themself doing it anyway --- and although it is two feet that touch the floor upon getting up from the sofa, soon it is four that start padding silently toward Veidt, and a small black cat nudges with its head at the mortal's leg, looks up at him with too-intelligent eyes.

anything related to the prejudice and self-hatred they turn unto themselves regarding the ways they never fit into asgardian culture. their jötunnheritage and the resulting internalised racism. their sexuality and the resulting internalised homophobia. their gender identity and the resulting internalised sexism/misogyny/transphobia. and just. general ways in which growing up the way they did fucked up their self-esteem and self-perception in general. so honestly the most accurate answer that touches upon all bases would be everything that they perceive as part of a weak personality, because they hate to think of themself as weak or flawed in any way which just makes it funnier that they have like 10000000 personality flaws lol but those are the more specific things that they would hate to vocalise.

OKAY SO iron man is obviously cha seung-won i’ve been recommending this face claim for months now. tbh jung woo-sung has also been saying in interviews that he’d fucking love to play iron man and i’m here for that too lolol. natasha romanoff? is an ethnically korean russian and she’s jung ryeo-won. honestly an ethnically korean nat would be really interesting!!!!!!! because there are actually hundreds of thousands of third, fourth generation ethnically korean people living in formerly soviet territories and it would actually be really interesting to delve into that & incorporate that into nat’s story. bruce banner? i’d recommend someone like lee beom-soo or jung woong-in (love that goddamn guy he’s such a fantastic actor). thor is jang hyuk from his role in chuno. loki is WITHOUT A DOUBT no minwoo esp from his role in the sword and the flower. (his fam name is no, which is HONESTLY a mood and i wish my fam name was no.) clint barton is probably lee byeong-heon but honestly i don’t know clint very well i’ll have to think on this. steve rogers already has korean face claims thought up by the quality asian!cap @wonwars but i do believe she uses lee joon-gi and song joong-gi and park seo-jun and i am honestly 1000000% here for that.

delving into making even more of the white aesir asian, odin can either be lee soon-jae or baek yoon-sik, the two go-to actors whomst korea goes to for the Grandpas With Gravitas so i’ll accept both of them. volstagg has to be ma dong-seok the artbox manager of my heart. sif? claudia kim sovereign of my own captive heart. or lee yeo-won works too. fandral can be like idk hyun bin. lololol i know amora the enchantress isn’t in any mcu movies but i love her and so she can be jun jihyun or han ye-seul. i would personally go with either chae si-ra or jeon in-hwa for frigga.

as for other white mcu characters, someone like gong hyo-jin as pepper potts. won bin as james buchanan ‘bucky’ barnes. (honestly lee byeong-heon would work for bucky too but i don’t want to be unoriginal.) shin se-kyeong as sharon carter. and idk i can’t remember any other white mcu characters now but honestly throw me some names and i can come up with some korean actors w/ similar vibes.

this is something well-documented in the thor & avengers movies; loki seems to favour a lot of black and green leather with gold highlights, and seems to wear variations of that basic colour scheme during different occasions, in battle, when chilling in the palace in asgard, etc etc. and when on earth, loki wears formal suits while on earth in thor 1, in the avengers, and in thor: ragnarok, so they must have at least a general idea of what is considered acceptable, presentable formal wear on earth. tbh i feel like if loki needed to pick out more casual clothes among the earth styles available, they’d probably go for unisex clothes that would be considered more on the goth/alternative side and in mostly the same colour scheme they wear on asgard.
