This is quite a rare piece. When I’m down I usually can’t even touch a pen enough to write a shopping list, let alone draw. And this particular comic I drew when I had reached the lowest point of my short existence. I think I never posted it ‘cause it’s messy? I think it describes pretty well how depressed people often find the idea of death comforting, and how it can actually calm them down and put things into perspective and help them carry on. It’s like knowing that someone super reliable’s got your back.

…However, it’s not normal to have to think about death in order to get out of the bed or the house. No one has to live with depression. It’s not a “normal” part of life. If you’re suicidal, you should talk to someone about it. It helps. Good luck!
