Turtle: Do you think I'm a wet sponge?
Moon: No. Why?
Turtle, thoughtfully: Well, I was eating lunch with Peril last week and she called me that - a wet sponge. It's been on my mind.
[Peril: Hey Turtle, You're kind of like a wet sponge. Y'know? You just splish-splosh everywhere..]
Moon: Oh.. and that was upsetting you?
Turtle: Kind of - I don't know... maybe it was the tone.
Moon: Well, I don't think she meant it in a mean way. You guys are besties! I learned that word from Kinkajou - isn't it neat? Either way, you know Peril. She always says everything in the same tone of voice. It's just how she is! Maybe you should talk to her if you're upset.
[Peril: I hope Tamarin recovers soon.. // The Birthday decorations look better than winter... // I'm solving our animus problem..]
Turtle: It's not really Peril's fault - It's just... I was barely useful with my power, and now even that's gone too. What if something happens? I don't want you guys to get hurt, but I'm just.. well...
Moon: A wet sponge?
Turtle, humorously : Is this thing on?
Moon: If it makes any difference to you, I don't think you're a wet sponge - and I also don't think you're a useless dragon. Remember when I first told everyone about my powers? You were the only one who was nice to me - who accepted me - right away. I'll never forget that, turtle. And I think compassion will always be your real superpower.

Lusitanian Pine Vole Microtus lusitanicus
It is endemic to the northwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula, in Spain and Portugal. This vole species appears to have monogamous pair bonds. Lusitanian pine voles prefer agricultural landscapes with significant habitat diversity, especially traditional Mediterranean agriculture characterised by small fields and abundant hedgerows.

Saw a post on here mentioning that they wished characters in Warriors used more familial words for each other (mama, papa, etc) and I want to add onto this:
Let grown warriors call their parents mama and papa. It would be very cute and show them having more connection with their parents. Let Sparkpelt call Squirrelflight "Mama" but Brambleclaw "Dad" to show that she sees them differently, have Thrushpelt get emotional because Bluestar's kits called him "Dad", let Squirrelpaw specifically call Firestar "stupid daddy" all the time whenever he makes a mistake or is a little dense. I NEED Starlingpaw to, at first, refer to Neetleclaw as "Mommy", but as he feels the need to mature or whatever, he just calls her "Mom" or even just her name. And she gets upset by this because that's her little starling, her special kitten, and she's gets afraid of loosing her boy. Come on!!! More emotion!!
Also, I would want parents to call their grown kits by cute nicknames. Imagine if Goldenflower called Brambleclaw "Brambly" as a kit and continued to call him this into his adulthood. Whitewing calling Ivypool and Dovewing "my little twins" or something cute like that. They aren't really twins in a cat sense but she calls them that anyway. Cloudtail and Brightheart calling Whitewing "angel" (don't ask how they know about that), Thistleclaw calling Whitestorm "my precious snowflake" because he thinks his son is sooo special (would humanize Thistleclaw I think, if you ignore THAT thing about him), Bluestar consistently calling Firestar "Flame" even though he's not her biological kit, Curlfeather calling Frostpaw a variety of nicknames that mostly relate to the winter or fish, etc etc. it would be so cute.
Overall, I think this would add so much more to the series. Them referring to each other super formally all the time makes the clans feel more like a workplace, in my opinion. I think it's fine for them to be a little formal, and it works for some characters, but still.
