A problem with Phen? He’s very easily distracted. Within a second, his attention can flitter to several different things and it’s very possible for him to forget what he’d originally been doing or searching for. The moment the slithering friend of the great tree was in the air and a cat, Phen’s eyes are wide and the overwhelming urge to chase after the cat is enough for Phen to rocket himself a few steps forward. Shit! Gone! Blasted. The cat is gone from his sight before he even had a chance to reach it. Now he’s in a new spot in the store and there’s suddenly different sights in front of him. Different trinkets. Different smells. Are those chicken bones? Why are there bones? Witches are odd creatures but Phen likes them. They’re like fae except not as special or pretty. Or deceptive. Or cunning. Or bright. Or tricky. Maybe they’re not like fae at all but he still likes them.
Giant tree is talking and it takes Phen a ridiculously long time to drag his attention back. Business proposition? Did he come here to make one? What business did he have? Oh! Kora! The wolf. The pretty wolf. The pretty wolf who has a grumpy owner. But Phen hardly had a chance to react to the hard pressed tone when Sidian brought up intentions.
“She’s my friend!” Phen announced, hands on his hips and a mock stern expression on his face. “I want to spend time with her. Play, play, play. Run through the woods! Giggle together! Best of friends!” Phen’s eyes are only getting brighter the more he spoke. “She’d make for the best dog! She’s black as midnight, soft as a cloud. I’m sure she’s lovely in her human form…hm just how lovely?” Oh. He could fuck her. That hadn’t crossed his mind, he’d wanted a friend. But now there’s the temptation there. How fun could that be? Phen missed having fun. People could be so boring. Maybe these two wouldn’t be boring. They’re both pretty after all and Phen loves pretty things.
In a flash of bright colors, he’s no longer standing in front of Sidian but now sitting on top of the front counter of the store, one leg crossed over the other and Phen’s smile that of a cheshire cat. Where once there were cloudy dazed bright eyes, there are now perfectly clear startling sharp eyes. “But now you bring up something very tempting, indeed. Would you allow such a thing, Sidian of the Witches? To watch my hands explore every curve and crevasse of her body? To watch the heat rush to her cheeks in desire, her back arch from the desperate need for more under my touch?”
If even possible, the Unseelie’s smile only grew larger with his next words. “Would you let me play with you too? I’m so curious to see you uncoil, unravel… could those hands of yours that smell of sage and soil make me submit? Oh, can you imagine the fun?”
What would his father call this one? An imbecile, for one, but Sidian didn’t think the eccentric Fae deserved such a cruel label. His father had been crueler than he, if that was believable to anyone, Sidian was only as soft as his mother could have influenced but right now it was his father’s wickedness and teachings which were forefront in his mind. Dark gaze watching as Phen followed after Sidian’s familiar a good few paces away from where they had been standing, Sidian’s brow furrowed slightly and his head tilted, observant of this man who wanted his wolf.Â
The Witch shifted once again, weight moving from one foot and then the other, back and then again, the wood floors creaking slightly with his movement. It was almost as if he were antsy and in a way he was, this Fae was going on about playing and dancing and whatever the hell Faeries did but Sidian was suddenly hit with the thought of where Kora was at that moment, habitually he glanced at his watch, his father’s. He’d have to go back in the greenhouse to find out where she was, the new enhancements on her charm that Sidian had placed made it easier to find her, as well as adapt to her new form but he wondered where she was now, if this guy was here for her.Â
For a moment Sidian wondered if this Fae had some angle and had actually whisked Kora off into a realm the Witch had only ever heard legends and tales of, shit. Sidian snapped his gaze back to the Fae, having not noticed he had let it wander from the man before he had teleported in a flare of colors. Hmm, Sidian was familiar with the spell which aided in him doing the same but it was certainly not as fluid or pretty as when Phen had done it. His dark gaze watched the other man as he sat upon the counter and spoke of sweet things.Â
Sidian slid his foot back and took the few paces that placed him closer to the counter, hands dropping from across his chest so that both hands slipped easily into his pants pockets, this Phen wasn’t a threat to him but Sidian knew that could change with anyone at any given moment, but by putting his hands into his pockets, the Witch played a little power game, grin pressing at his lips with a dark amusement that touched his gaze.
Perhaps he shouldn’t have said anything but he couldn’t help the shiver of thrill that the idea brought him, watching Phen explore Kora’s body and making the heat bring color to her cheeks, one of Sidian’s favorite things, the stolen glances she’d share with him as he watched. With a curious glint the witch brought one of his hands to his bearded chin and stroked it, as if he were truly and deeply contemplating the ideal. He should uncoil, unravel, this wasn’t an attack on himself or Kora, it seemed this Fae was genuinely interested but that didn’t mean Sidian trusted Phen at all.Â
“I do not limit nor control whom Kora is friends with,” Sidian started after a good moment of contemplation, taking a few more steps closer to the front counter, his familiar reappearing to jump upon said counter and first sniff cautiously at the Fae before chirping and rubbing its head against Phen. To which Sidian made a slight face of annoyance but soon resumed his thought, clearing his throat to get Phen’s attention back. “-- I will speak with her about it but I do not care if you are friends.” Sidian said with a nod before he took a few steps closer, tilting his head and looking down on the other man before he reached over to pet his own familiar.Â
“As for this, fun,” he hummed, tone lower, suggestive and more open than it might have been earlier in their conversation or even when he had first greeted Phen. Sidian let a grin pull the corner of his lips up, a one sided smirk, a lusty and jealous flash touching his dark gaze for a moment until he let his hand drop from the feline familiar and returned it to his pants pocket. “I can imagine it.”
