DIY VIDEO - COMIC BOOK SHOES

Hello everyone! Have you ever wanted your own pair of comic book heels but don't have the money to buy already-made shoes on Etsy? Have an old pair of flats you want to revamp with your favorite comic book series? Look no further, because here's a video just for you! In 2012, YouTube user MADCOLLECTIVE created a DIY video explaining the step-by step process of making your own comic book inspired heels. Keep in mind that you can do this with heels, flats, or canvas shoes. Not only does she explain her procedure perfectly, but she also demonstrates exactly what she did with precise instructions. The video has fun graphics and is high quality. I highly recommend this video to anyone who is into easy DIY's and for anyone who is new to DIY's. FASHION FEATURE FRIDAY #1 - SPIDERMAN

In honor of The Amazing Spiderman 2, I have decided to create some outfits inspired by our friendly neighborhood hero.

Marvel & DC Comics Faux Plugs

If you do not have plugs, but are planning on gauging your ears, THESE are the plugs for you! Hot Topic recently sold Marvel Comics & DC Comics Faux Plug Earrings, which featured Superman, Captain America, Deadpool, and Batman. When these started selling on Hot Topic's website, they went on sale for about $7.50 EACH, but they were SO popular, only the Batman is available (and almost gone) for $10.50. Missed out? No worries! superherostuff.com ALSO has the Batman Faux Plugs for $9.99! Looking for Superman and Captain America? Look no further! Ebay is still the go-to place to find these amazing earrings. Unfortunately, where to find the Deadpool plugs is still a mystery to me. Sorry Deadpool fans! 

These faux plugs can be worn by men AND women, makes everyone think they're REAL plugs, and always stay in place. The only complaint is that they can be annoying to screw in. As an owner of the full set (Currently wearing my Batman earrings), I'd say these are amazing earrings and are a MUST HAVE for Marvel & DC lovers.
